@pkafka have you tried getting the guys from @CorridorDigital on your podcast ? Topics could include: running your own streaming site subscription and their approach gen ai tools in vfx/filmmaking workflow.
I used to like Huffman but either he is being a pain sponge for the investors as they Reddit IPO, or he lost the good advisors that were making him look good before.
@PivotPod I know you’ve took a question about Reddit on the Tuesday show but you should revisit the situation, this interview with its CEO is an amateur attempt at controlling the conversation, he doesn’t answer directly any questions https://t.co/Eextb9ZvWy
When @karaswisher addressed it on Tues. she seemed to have skimmed the situation & @profgalloway didn’t read anything on it, I get wanting to turn a growth cost to a revenue stream as you’re gearing up for an IPO but the rollout is what is the fail here…
The short delay (30 days heads up on pricing for an integrated stakeholders is minuscule) is never justified in the interview, he gives tone deaf answers to the pain points of devs, mods & users “working with the apps that want to work with us” but never specify how
@pkafka can you do an episode on the imgur image purge and the effects of similar purge ex: tumblr flickr etc. how to combat link rot. maybe a discussion with peeps from wayback machine.
Also who is behind/funding Medialab, what’s their strategy?
@EthoLP seemed like this happened also last season, can't you have 2nd device recording your audio (h4n or phone ) as backup or just do a voiceover on your footage ? I guess i go watch another ~T~IES pov ... but i'm not gonna enjoy it as much.
