@OnchainLu very cool. The performance you have listed in interesting, but i'd be a lot more interested in seeing what the performance would be if you invest in a basket which just invests in these bets within a few minutes of the insider trades being released publicly.
(1) haven't met these folks myself. If they exist they are very rare / doubt i'll ever be one. I think the dedicated meditators I've met are either: are lying to themselves about benefits (a form of wishful thinking), had modest benefits, or just enjoy meditating and it's a healthy passion. For (2) I'd bet $ if you switched to 3-5 minutes per day you'd enjoy it again. Also optimizing for enjoyable -- each day choose whichever practice you feel like doing and let yourself skip on days you don't feel like it. I don't find meditation insanely euphoric or anything nowadays, but focusing / counting your breaths for 5-10 minutes or thinking about what you're grateful for is reasonably relaxing and enjoyable, especially when you're not trying to squeeze huge benefits / enlightenment out of it.
@richardchen39 Agreed except Polymarket and Morpho were not really "early" to new categories. Augur + Gnosis were 5+ years ahead of Polymarket. Aave was many years ahead of Morpho ( Dharma / DAI were many years ahead of Aave). Market timing was right and they learned from previous fails.
I’ve been playing guitar since I was 7, but I still lost a lot of motivation since hearing AI generated music. at least we’re not alone. Though I think acoustic / live music is still substantially better than any recorded music. We are still pretty far from capturing the energy of live music in digital recordings. And AI for now is stuck in the digital world
@alexteng101 Ah that’s interesting bc the 4th phrase usually has the strongest effect on me. “Everything I cherish will eventually fade.” But cool that you also find these useful!
@LefterisJP@griffgreen I remember it too. I was about to hop on a flight to Berlin, start my internship with you guys. I was wondering whether I still had an internship 😅
DONE! An astonishing 7.2 billion enzyme docking calculations across multiple targets to identify age-reversal molecules with @KlyneAI. This is the future of drug discovery 👏
@LefterisJP It seems like crypto already accomplished the most important part of the mission — a digital form of gold. I can now hold millions of dollars in a way that doesn’t require trusting a bank or government. That’s pretty incredible. We made it (mostly).
@FEhrsam not very bullish, but: biotech assets (e.g., future rev streams from a drug in trials) tokenized. Liquidity on the level of individual drugs / assets. Crypto-natives get access to a new class of investments. Overseas access to bio-startup investing + New funding option
