I want to take a moment to thank @KenyaPower for supplying us with uninterrupted pawa. I cannot imagine what the Nigerians are going through with generator won tear my ear. No wonder they are so loud
They are now telling Kenyans that government eyeing SACCO money will be a big win for savers, which is the kind of comedy you hear when a hyena enters a goat shed and calls it a security partnership 😂😂😂😂😂
A broke government that has borrowed everywhere, taxed everything, sold public assets, crowded out SMEs through banks and now wants SACCO money cannot suddenly be marketed as a blessing to savers.
SACCO members did not save slowly from salaries, biashara, farming, boda rides, police pay, nursing shifts and teaching jobs so Treasury could arrive with a PowerPoint and call their private sacrifice infrastructure financing.
This debate is very simple, because government should not compete with ordinary Kenyans for SACCO money, loans and credit in the last financial corner where citizens were still breathing.
Calling this a big win for SACCOs is like telling a man that the thief measuring his door at night is doing free security assessment.
You only have the ‘power’ to bully institutions inside Uganda. Step outside Uganda’s borders and your threats are as valuable as a veto in a room where you don’t have a seat.
It takes a remarkably primitive political imagination to inherit influence and conclude that its highest purpose is shutting down media houses. While serious nations are competing to build world class universities, industries, research centres, and militaries, you are proudly advertising censorship as though it were a national achievement.
Instead of helping Mzee leave behind a prosperous, technologically advanced Uganda, you boast about destroying businesses, silencing journalists, and reinforcing the very stereotypes that have held African politics back for decades. You possess the mentality of an oversized political infant who mistakes coercion for competence and inherited authority for personal greatness.
Uganda has thepotential to be one of Africa’s leading economies. The tragedy is that its potential is too often constrained by leaders who still think like feudal chiefs rather than twenty first century nation builders. History has never been kind to rulers who confuse fear with respect, or obedience with legitimacy.
186 MPs were absent when the Finance Bill was passed in Parliament.
Among those missing were:
• Oscar Sudi (Kapseret)
• Sabina Chege (Nominated)
• Alice Ng'ang'a (Thika)
• Mary Wamaua
• George Kariuki
• Doris Ndonya
• Didmus Barasa
• Ndindi Nyoro (reportedly was out of the country)
And that's only part of the list.
Now let me tell you something many Kenyans don't think about.
Those 186 MPs were probably not absent randomly.
Most MPs belong to a WhatsApp group and other political coordination groups where attendance, strategy, and voting plans are discussed long before they enter Parliament.
A conversation could easily sound like this:
Leader X: Leo tunavote yes.
MPs: Hiyo italeta shida. People don't like this Finance Bill.
Leader X: Sio lazima wote mtokee. Some can attend, some can stay away. We will provide tea.
MPs: Which format are we using to vote?
Leader X: Electronic voting.
And the discussion continues.
That's why it's difficult to believe that 186 MPs independently woke up and decided not to show up for one of the most important votes of the year.
Don't assume Parliament operates only inside the chamber.
A lot of what happens in Parliament is often decided long before MPs take their seats.
Who speaks.
Who attacks.
Who defends.
Who stays silent.
Who shows up.
Who stays away.
The vote happened in Parliament.
The strategy may have happened somewhere else.
Adani is so bitter, he’s been sending Indian bloggers to abuse me in the comments since the news of the airport contract going to CCCC/fat toad chivayo. Adani is still the worst deal ever, we will also fight another bad deal whether it be by the Chinese or anyone else. Our only goal is to have projects that are designed for public good not for individuals to profit at the expense of tax payers and to auction our sovereignty for a few pennies.
This afternoon at 2:00 PM, I will address the country on a petition I have filed before the Judicial Service Commission seeking the removal of three Court of Appeal judges.
The issues at stake go to the heart of justice, accountability, and fidelity to our Constitution.

I invite the media and all Kenyans interested in the rule of law to follow this important address.
If you are a teacher, especially in a primary school,
Be very careful when handling children of chaotic single mothers.
Teach them and go home.
Don't even correct them when they make a mistake. Ignore them with their tantrums.
Protect your payslip.
Where is the parliamentary legislation that allows the government to import sick Americans into our sovereign territory?
Where?
