[The Knox Event in Real Time @TheKnoxEvent]

Exactly 30 years ago, in July 1993, the Knox Event changed the world forever.

This account commemorates that moment in history, in real time.

God save us all.

@StephenAtHome I am on the floor, ded. 🤣🤣🤣

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

@DJSnM Hey! Where's the rest of it? <3

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

Holy moly. I am lost for words. 😂

The end of this video destroyed me.

Thank you, Australia!

Oh. My. I haven't used Twitter in donkey's years.
I have come back to Twitter, because of this post.
:D

If you’re a grown adult enraged by 16-year-old activist @GretaThunberg, satirist @markhumphries and his co-writer @evanwilliams have created a new service that could help. #abc730

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

@elonmusk I don't think this is said enough. Thank you. For PayPal, Tesla, SpaceX, of course. But also for your attitude that we are all in this together. For what you've done and what you're still trying to achieve. Please, do take care of yourself. As a species, we need you.

#Minecraft appears to be getting over its' case of the flu. Still has to run in Basic Graphics mode, but it no longer chugs up as horribly.

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

Man, don't know what they've done to the engine, I sure hope they fix it. Flogs the hdd. It's slow, and gets progressively worse. #Minecraft

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

#ModelSmith3d Build 7 is up. Current launcher auto-updates blah blah blah. I'm beat. Time for some portals. :P

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

Plus side: update & draw run concurrently = almost 2x speed on a multi-core. Add a job queue = more gains for the win! #lwjgl #awt

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

Instead, do EventQueue.invokeLater(update()), then draw(). No waiting. It works, but now must care about race conditions. yay! #lwjgl #awt

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

So, you do EventQueue.invokeLater(update()), wait for update to finish, then draw(). Again, same problem. duh. #lwjgl #awt

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

It ought to be simple: update, draw, repeat. Except if you try to show a dialog during update and freeze up the draw thread. #lwjgl #awt

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

glUniformMatrix4 doesn't just upload 16 floats, instead it uploads the whole supplied buffer. In my case, 1024 * 4 bytes per mat4. D: #LWJGL

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

Bit of fun. Working on getting renderer to re-attach correctly on save & compile. Programming the app while the patient is awake. :D

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

Hope everyone has a good Friday evening. I'm settling in for some late night coding.

Hunter Sidescroller has a custom renderer for Shadow Mapping. Use #includejar Hunter.jar to see it inside ModelSmith3d. #futurefeatures

[Zac Congo @zaccongo]

Individual projects should be able to specify their own custom plugins, usable only by those projects. eg Custom renderers. #futurefeatures
