This is awesome: NBC Sports is planning an NFL RedZone-style whiparound show for the Paris Olympics, which will guide viewers to the best and most exciting live moments during the Summer Games.
It will be called the "Gold Zone"
The host to open each day ... Scott Hanson. ๐
@dylon_swartwood@SadeekNextWave His film is actually awesome. Not the best in coverage but god he runs over people. Could see him as a utility guy in playing a box safety or OLB on some sets. Would love to pick him up in the 5th
@The1Tab The west loop is greatโฆand a 30 minute walk through not the greatest neighborhood or dealing with a 10-15 minute Uber or taxi through traffic. Practically ruining the appeal of an asg with a cool bar scene right outside the stadium.
Again, I am in full support of whatever the bears decide to do but if they snuck into the wild card even without winning a playoff game then does this debate even exist?
Just food for thought.
I want to preface this tweet by saying I am in full support of whatever route the Bears decide to go.
With that said I am curious if the QB debate happens if the defense closes out Denver, Detroit, and Cleveland. Was Justin at fault for some of the collapse? Yes absolutely.
However a combination of flus playing scared defense and Getsy being getsy also were huge contributors to those losses. If the Bears played a playoff game this year which they easily could have, would people still be begging for Caleb?
@MichaelGus57 If Justin doesn't garner "fair" interest would you consider keeping him on the roster and still bring Caleb in? Maybe give him a Taysom Hill role and let Waldron get creative. Just a thought because I'd rather have that as an option to scare defenses than a 3rd or 4th tbh.
One thing I will note is the difference in timing and decision-making from last year to this year. Really my biggest concern. A lot of times this season he seemed nervous to pull the trigger while last year he played with all the confidence in the world.
Watching some Caleb film and wow. Big difference in one thing that everyone believes he and Justin do similarly: improvisation. When the pocket blows up, Justin gets out and looks to run. Alternatively, Caleb gets outside the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield no matter what.
