You think you want material things but you really want freedom, the material things are a bandage to help you get through the pain of not having freedom. Once you get freedom you can get all the material things you want as long as they don’t jeopardize your freedom… but you’re going to want “things” less and less, or you’ll buy things because they are cool, well crafted, dope
design, to support the owner, buy from a collection etc but you’ll slow all the way down buying things just to get a quick dopamine hit, get your freedom first then the fly shit after, that was my path and that’s the path I suggest for all of you.
Got a dope car? Doesn’t matter if you aren’t free, Rolex? Who cares you are free, fancy vacation? Doesn’t matter it ends and you go back to not being free… but when I say free I’m not talking about strictly not having a job but the option to chose where you want, chose the labor you do, do what you like to do instead of doing what pays the best, the freedom to express yourself without the fear of financial consequences, the freedom to help the people who deserve it, the freedom to not be in a rush, to stay out late because you’re having a good time, to wake up earlier and watch the sunshine without needing every hour of sleep, because if you’re sleepy you’ll go back to bed. Freedom comes in many forms but the main thing is don’t put material things first they will slow you down on your journey to freedom, assets will speed up the journey, that car payment is costing you your freedom bro, the fancy apartment or house all of that is money that can be used to give you escape velocity

A lack of energy plagues the world.
Sitting under LED lights all day
Drawing shapes on empty computer screens
Spending hours clicking around in a few emails calling it the "dream job"
Your morning and night routine consists of surfing through hundreds of videos to get a hit of dopamine from your favorite influencer online
Once achieved, you search sporadically to get the same hit
Only to wake up years later and realize everything you ever wanted has passed
You ran in a hamster wheel of distraction and never got anywhere
