@Free2Move when can you move this damaged car on the 1400 block of Rittenhouse St NW? It’s been here for a while and just keeps taking up valuable parking spots for DC residents. No one will use it in this condition. Also, can you clean up the glass on the way out? Thank you!
Well management coincidentally tried to schedule a “tenant appreciation party” (😒) at the same time as the rally to protest terrible living conditions at Khan properties.
But despite their best efforts, they couldn’t drown out the sound of 70+ tenants and friends!
@311DCgov I had a fantastic interaction with one of your parking enforcement employees in on the phone just moments ago in Ward 4. He was very helpful and incredibly kind about the issue I had submitted on your app. Always appreciated!
@NatlParkService I walked my family through our neighborhood to Fort Stevens in DC today and it’s in rough shape. Lots of broken glass and trash strewn around this popular local park. Seems unsightly at best and dangerous at worst (see photos below).
@USPSHelp applied for Informed delivery on your website, had verification letter sent, went to input Invitation Code and now website says "You do not have a valid address." Any chance you can help?
I came across this dead female cicada. It didn’t appear to have been killed by anything other than time.
I’d like to imagine she had a successful attempt at reproduction after she waited all that time in the ground

Did you know we have river otters in the Anacostia? Check out this encounter caught on a trail cam in Upper Beaverdam Creek! While the state conservation status is “secure” in Maryland, finding otters in the Anacostia is a sign of the river's improving health! #enjoytheanacostia
Have you seen this man? He allegedly assaulted federal law enforcement personnel at the U.S. Capitol on January 6. If you recognize him, visit https://t.co/iL7sD5efWD to submit a tip. Mention photo 347 in your tip.
We just launched a BRAND NEW website to help you enjoy the Anacostia to the fullest! Check it out to discover events happening near you, download maps, learn about how the Anacostia is improving, and more! Visit https://t.co/yyAckopkcm!
When water enters a watershed too quickly for the land to absorb, flooding can occur. Trees & other plants slow down the flow of water & act as a filter to clean runoff. Planting trees & rain gardens is a great way to help keep the Anacostia clean & resilient! #EnjoytheAnacostia
National Guard troops walk by a WMATA bus shelter displaying wanted information on people from the insurrection on Capitol Hill. Troops continue to arrive in DC as downtown is secured for inauguration.
Joe Biden will be the 46th President of the United States of America.
I expect he imagined a much different inauguration — one with a crowd of supporters gathered on the National Mall.
It’s all looking very opposite of that today.
