So what is the solution? Because the problem that plagues our nation is these billionaire types are ALLOWED to let go of their workforce without any repercussions and increase their net worth in the process. And for what reason other than that? The system is screwed. Just say it.
@Heccles94 The problem isn't that they're being fired from their jobs, the problem is that you need a job to survive
Too many people fail to recognize the impending culling that technology and automation will have on employment
Not realizing this will lead to the death of millions
67% of Gen Z would choose a good nights rest over having sex.
When I was in my teens and early 20s, id walk a mile over broken glass...barefoot to get laid.
What is going on with these younger generations? Somethings not right.
Bruh Sony has been doing scummy practices against their comp for the longest and you think they are above criticism? Stop it! Nintendo too. Stop nut riding. Even Xbox needed criticism. No one is safe!
The two successful console makers, Nintendo and Sony, don't rely on parasocial relationships. They keep their heads down and let their games and products speak for themselves. Xbox could learn from that, but they haven't. It's the same dance, just different dancers.
Imma keep it a stack.. I don’t care, I’m retired I’ll say what I want. These NFL teams come out here and post these mental health awareness posts talking about they care about players “don’t be afraid to reach out”etc. All they care about is what you bring to the table when it’s game day. Most players don’t wanna get help inside the building of an NFL organization because they know you’ll get looked at differently. You go to a staff member tell em you struggling watch how different they start treating and looking at you. I seen it first hand..
I’ll start believing they care about player health when the Owner, GM, & head coach treat everyone on that roster the same from the franchise QB to the janitor. Until then don’t tell me they care cause they posted some hotline number when shit like this happens.
I’m here for any of my brothers that just wanna talk and shoot the shit. I love y’all. I care about y’all. I’m here for y’all.
She says she’s afraid to tax the rich because they might leave.
Leave where?
New York is the financial capital of the world. Corporations don’t come here because it’s cheap — they come here because it’s powerful. Because this is where money moves. Because this is where influence lives.
Stop acting like we have to beg millionaires to stay.
Meanwhile, working families don’t have the luxury of “leaving.”
They’re locked into rent. Mortgages. Transit fares. Utility bills. Groceries that keep going up. Property taxes that keep going up. CPI that keeps going up.
Everything is going up — except relief.
And when she says “people already pay a lot in taxes” … who’s in charge of fixing that?
Because right now it feels like the wealthy are being protected from inconvenience while the middle class is being asked to absorb the impact.
If New York can create billionaires, it can ask them to contribute more.
Working men and women are tapped out.
At some point, leadership has to decide who they’re really fighting for.
And from where we’re standing… it’s not us.

It’s rare in life to know when a chapter is closing, but after 38 years at Microsoft, that moment has arrived for me. I’ve made the decision to retire and begin the next chapter of my life. It’s a milestone that’s given me a chance to reflect on the incredible journey I’ve been fortunate enough to share with so many of you.
@heaven777__@yuta__ishida @TheGrandZero Romanticize or humanize? Because even with the Yakuza games, its not a glorification of gang culture. Its humanization of people. You treat people like animals, you get animal like behavior.
