@Farid_0v Pathetic, that’s why you can never truly grasp Martyrdom of Al Hussain (a.s). Foreknowledge of something will not prevent them from doing what is right, and morally correct, even at the expense of personal loss, because they act to please Allah and not for worldly gains.
@HRX_News2 @Idl32743005@One_Dawah Then why does one need intercession, just ask God to give you salvation directly. Intercession makes no sense if you can simply get what you want by asking directly.
@WokeMuggle@muftishamail In Islamic worldview the materialism of this life is temptation which can cause one to fail the test. The afterlife is where God rewards the successful with things much better & everlasting. Spiritual rewards are bestowed too, incl. love, approval, & knowledge from God.
@DesiKing_ So isn’t this administrative, economic policy failure? And in general overall poverty and civc sense part of the problem, why always push a divisive narrative and seek to communalize the population?
@asharyte All these points seem like stretching an argument by any means necessary. However, if one simply refers to the corpus of Hadith objectively, the accolades for Ali a.s. and his status far exceed that that of any other companion.
@_wazaa_@Tomato_of_Truth@Haqiqatjou@YasirAlHanafi To be fair he’s a Christian revert, not associating anyone with Allah is what brought him to accept Islam. Istighasa & setting up an intermediary borders Shirk, it’s without doubt a gray area with all the nuances, & so it is something he won’t be able to reconcile with easily.
@hurmatanain @chachi4chacha @saanyaww So should we only get inspired to follow deen by glad tidings and promise of Jannah and should feel degraded and disgusted when someone reminds with admonitions? Stop bringing excuses. Quran uses warnings of hellfire too because our Creator knows what works best for human psyche.
@usman11_ Imagine you want safety and security of your children and want them to become good Muslims, successful in the hereafter, then would you still have these objections and demand justification for implementing the same rules?
@Fozzietheauzzie Why should Muslims vie for perpetual “progress”? That is a goal of liberal societies that do not mind moral decadence. Muslims follow the divine command to cover ourselves modestly when with strangers or in public sphere, and that’s the hallmark of a morally progressed society.
@Haqiqatjou@jordanbpeterson Is he not saying that if you reject intermediate authority then you have to interpret religion yourself & conceptualize your own truth? And therefore, the lack of church/papacy makes Islam & Muslim belief akin to the identity assertions of those who adhere to “excess liberalism”.
@Abu_Hafs01 Hating ppl is antithetical to dawah, more so for the followers of Rahmatul lil Aalameen(a.s.)
How is it true that we are told to hate & yet allowed marriage with Ahlulkitab?
The Muslims who migrated to Abyssinia would then had to tell Al-Najashi “we hate you but demand refuge”!
@Abu_Hafs01 We hate evil conduct, disbelief, sin and rebellion against Allah.
We have not been commanded to hate people on account of their faith, only sanctioned hatred is when the disbelievers with animosity pick up arms against Muslims or drive us out of our homes.
Read Quran: 60, 8-9
@ashok20@AnuMathur19 I like your approach, to critique an ideology one should question it’s strongest assertions or arguments but of course not without fully comprehending the ideas as they are understood by the proponents.
@ashok20@AnuMathur19 Circumcision is only part of the ritualistic aspect of Abrahamic tradition, a binding practice only if you follow and believe in these prophets.
@ashok20@AnuMathur19 This life is a test to establish who goes where, either to swarg or to nark.
If we believe in God, follow his major commandments & do good deeds, rest assured our creator is merciful and would overlook our short comings.
