@MaryLouMcDonald Since when has SF got into the politics of condemnation?
It's beyond ludicrous now how these so called community leaders can so easily wash their blood stained hands of their own policies.
The riots last night happened in the wrong Irish city... it should have been in Dublin
@sinnfeinireland@MaryLouMcDonald You all are part responsible for what's happening in our streets.
Diversity is not a strength, unity is strength.
Time to drop your policy of "everyone is welcome", and promote policies that support Irish families having 3+ children if worried about population decline.
Won't it be fun with "X Money" launches next month, and then they can cancel your account and steal your money after you criticize war crimes that Big Tech is complicit in?
Please be smarter and keep your finances off of Musk's would-be "everything app" as much as you possibly can.
On privacy, even if images of people who are not on the watchlist are deleted quickly, Live Facial Recognition still involves scanning and analysing the faces of everyone who walks past. That is biometric processing in a public space.
Under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, the issue is not only whether data is stored, it is also whether collecting and using personal data in this way is "lawful, necessary, and proportionate", with clear rules, oversight, and accountability.
On fairness, facial recognition has repeatedly been shown to perform unevenly across different groups, with higher error rates for women and people from ethnic minority backgrounds. I am not saying that is your intention, but it does raise the risk that innocent people are disproportionately stopped or questioned. If this is going to be used in a busy city centre, public confidence depends on transparency about how you have tested for that and what safeguards are in place.
To help reassure the public, would you be willing to publish the key documents and information for this deployment, including the Data Protection Impact Assessment, the watchlist criteria and who authorises inclusion, the false alert rate at the settings you will be using and ideally how that performs across sex and ethnicity, a clear explanation of what deleted instantly means in practice including any buffering, logs or metadata, and what the process is for someone who believes they have been wrongly flagged to challenge it and get answers.
We are a unique ethnic group. Being Irish is based on blood and soil. Its part of what makes us different to all other people and thats a good thing. We add something beautiful to the world and our culture is unique to us. The attempt to denigrate that is satanic and is not rooted in compassion.
No indigenous people should be denied the right to national and ethnic preservation, self determination, and freedom of association. This forced integration with conflicting cultures and races is clearly a deliberate act of war by the Irish state.
@MichealMartinTD@ZelenskyyUa 125 Mile straight to his back pocket. When a corrupt politician meets another corrupt politician do they cancel each other out or is corruption multiplied?
First words from Tadhg Hickey as he returns home to Ireland after being kidnapped and illegally detained by the occupying forces. We pray for the release of all Palestinian Men, Women and Children being illegally detained.
@JOKAQARMY1 Listen closely. This is a classic example of creating fear anxiety helplessness etc and they're desperate to get back their lost control of us. We've reached critical mass global scale awakening now and our natural frequency levels are causing massive failures for them now.
Arguments against digital ID are paper thin. The reality is most voters now back them.
The Prime Minister should have the courage to embrace them in full.
Today we hear 1 in 5 children are living in poverty
And now Energia is set to increase electricity prices by up to 12.1%
They made €154 million in profit last year
This isn't inflation it's Gougflation-
Price & profit gouging
The Government must stop sitting on its hands
@MimiVonPeach@wereontheditch It's just that both Tír Chonaill and Inis Eoghain make up what we now call County Donegal. Why leave out a whole territory when referencing the Donegal team. Or maybe donegal stops at letterkenny and no one told me
@MimiVonPeach@wereontheditch Just a friendly reminder, there are also players from Inis Eoghain playing for the Donegal team or maybe you think they're 2nd class citizens within Donegal and aren't worth the effort to recognise them???
