Omo... Looking back now, it's heartbreaking. 💔😭
53 days inside the forest, and our government didn't care. They looked away like our lives meant nothing. They don't send, they don't care.
The pain, the trauma, and the memories will stay with me forever. 💔😭

When I was twenty, my parents told me that if I wanted a car, I had to earn it myself.
So I took every job I could find.
I delivered groceries before sunrise.
Worked at a bookstore in the afternoons.
Cleaned offices at night.
It took me almost three years, but I finally bought a used car with my own money.
I was proud because every scratch on it had a story I had earned.
Years later, after my career took off, my parents invited me over for Sunday lunch.
Halfway through the meal, my mother smiled and said, “Your younger cousin just got his driver’s license.”
“That’s wonderful,” I replied……

Honestly what’s going on ?
It’s over a month now
Is this how the case will die down ?
It’s been over 50 days since gunmen stormed schools in Oyo, 39 pupils (some as young as 2) and 7 teachers. 46 lives still trapped in the bush facing rain, hunger & fear.
Where is the urgency? The world has moved on, These are our children, not statistics. How do we forget so quickly? Insecurity is spreading south, yet it’s business as usual. Nigerians deserve better.

So many people who have been declared missing or dead are probably in prison, wasting away. Some are there for offences as minor as walking at night.
This country needs help 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

48 days since innocent kids and their teacher were abducted in Ogbomoso.
The silence about them keep getting louder every day.
We are moving on as a country as if it never happened.
We have gotten comfortable with tragedies that should put a nation on hold. 💔
