Just saw a post on 6 Top Reasons Why Dauda Lawal Will Not Be Returned As Zamfara State Governor,

1. The author reemphasized what most people have been saying since; He has little or no support in Zamfara State

2. "He has a huge baggage of corruption and is seen as a thief" - Nothing to add to this Sha, almost everyone knows this

3. The author after some surveys, noted that Zamfara Citizens are worried he is only in office to squander their scarce resources

4.Then the fact that Matawalle has massive support in Maradun, Birnin-Magaji and Bukkuyum—The three Local Government Areas affected by the court order for re-run also makes it almost impossible for Oga Dauda to be returned if there's a rerun

5. Zamfarans can't wait to kick Dauda out of office because of his lack of performance, He has done nothing but complained since he got into office

6. "Security will get worse under his watch", according to the writer, this is expected considering the factors involved

So it is paramount and important that Zamfarans take these advices seriously and do the needful

I recently made a tweet debunking the airport claims made by Dauda Lawal and how he should focus on securing his state and stop witch-hunting former Governor Matawalle. Many people defended him, some were even denying after I provided evidence and resorted to insulting me.

But, I want to point out something from Dauda's recent claims that the Minister of State for Defense diverted a huge 774 billion naira when he was Governor, which sounded outrageous for any sane person aside his followers. That amount equates to six months of Zamfara state's allocation. How can a governor divert such amounts and it will go unnoticed?

After a little bit of research which his supporters have never heard of, I found out that in 2019, Zamfara got 1318 Hajj slots and the hajj fare at the time was N1,484,388.56, costing a total of 2 billion naira. To put this into perspective, it will take matawalle 367years of diversion to get to that amount.

I believe it will be in the best interest of Dauda Lawal and the good people of Zamfara if the Governor keeps aside the blame games and focuses on the progress of the state. All these allegations to distract people from Zamfara’s current situation won’t do any good for the people.

PS I think his SA on ‘Propaganda’ needs to be fired cause he’s clearly not good at it.
