→ Claude agent built by @Must_be_Ash reads the day's news for $0.10, built with x402 and @tavilyai.

Now it’s @Google vs @coinbase vs @stripe in Agentic Commerce.

Do you remember the hype around the x402 standard when Coinbase presented it?

Well, now Google has just come out with its own solution for agentic commerce.

Made in collaboration with giants like Shopify and Walmart, these are the kinds of announcements that show you the future.

@sundarpichai (CEO of Google) said: “AI agents will be a big part of how we shop in the not-so-distant future.”

So, they have just released the “Universal Commerce Protocol,” which will allow agents to exchange value with each other.

As of today, agentic commerce has three main actors:

> x402 → powered by @coinbase (Web3-native)
> Universal Commerce Protocol → powered by @Google (in collaboration with Walmart and Shopify)
> Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP) → powered by @stripe (in collaboration with OpenAI)

The question now is: which one will win?
Honestly, I don’t know.

But what is clear is that agents are here to stay, believe it or not.
