The moment a narcissist smiles right to your face, it is never an act of genuine warmth or friendship.
It is either the look of a predator who has found a fresh prey to devour, or someone celebrating that you are already eaten alive.
They don't smile because they are happy to see you; they smile because they are calculating exactly how to exploit your good heart. To a high-level manipulator, every human interaction is a hunter and prey dynamic.. That smile isn't a sign of safety it's the absolute satisfaction of a parasite that has successfully bypassed your defenses.
There is an awkward, dark split where Narcissists either becomes instantly hostile toward autistic people because their usual conning tactics fail, or they are intensely drawn to them as the perfect targets for exploitation..
They actively seek out a highly specific "type" of person. People that are highly introverted, intensely apologetic, terrified, and mainly with explicit autism diagnoses. When you've spent your whole life being told you navigate the world incorrectly, you are much more likely to second guess your own gut and let a predator write the script for you.
SOME CHILDREN OF NARCISSISTIC PARENTS GROW UP KNOWING HOW TO HIDE THEIR EMOTIONS BUT NOT HOW TO PROCESS THEM.
When expressing sadness gets you mocked, anger gets you punished, and fear gets dismissed, you learn to keep everything inside. You stop asking for comfort. You hide your tears. You tell yourself you’re fine because showing how you feel has never felt safe
Narcissistic personality disorder in a nutshell, according to Dr. Ramani Durvasula:
It’s a stable pattern of selfishness and arrogance. Key traits: grandiosity, entitlement, living in a fantasy world, and putting your own needs above everyone else’s.
The core: “I am more important than you, and your needs don’t matter.”
My therapist said that in narcissistic families, the child who tells the truth often becomes the threat, so the family focuses on discrediting them instead of facing what they’re saying.

A NARCISSIST CAN'T STAND
1️⃣ Your Success
They hate when you achieve something because it reminds them of their own shortcomings.
2️⃣ When You Get Attention
They despise when others focus on you because they need to be the center of attention.
A narcissist's favorite weapon is tearing down good people.
They see someone joyful, kind, genuine, and full of light, and instead of valuing it, they try to destroy it.
They manipulate. They provoke. They betray.
They chip away at your confidence until you begin to doubt the very traits that made you shine.
But this is the truth:
They did not break you.
They revealed who they truly are.
That is pure evil.
An off-duty cop was working security at a North St. Louis County business at 2:30 a.m.
Two 20-year-old women allegedly took him down.
Court documents say Nayonna Griffin, 20, threw items at him. When he approached, Shania Lewis, 20, allegedly threw him to the ground and punched him over and over.
Griffin allegedly stomped on his head.
Lewis allegedly grabbed for his gun. It stayed in the holster. Thank God.
When backup arrived, Griffin allegedly kept pulling his hair, kicking and trying to run.
The officer went to the hospital.
Both are charged with felony assault and felony resisting arrest. $100,000 cash-only bond each.
Keep that bond right where it is. 🧵
