I was very optimistic going into this rebuild and believed the Grizzlies would bounce back faster than most expected.
And while there are still a lot of hard decisions ahead, this has been a truly unbelievable start to the offseason, the rebuild, and the future.

For me, the Grizzlies crushed the draft today. Obvs Cam Boozer- best player in the draft at #3 and my hope was that if the Grizzlies were unable to trade up for Kingston, they would trade down and that’s exactly what they did and got my #1 player available at #16 in Karim Lopez.

Grizzlies didn’t get Kingston at 16- trading back for future draft capital was my second best option. Plenty of good options still available, but I also wouldn’t mind trading out of the pick entirely.

Devastated the Grizzlies didn’t find a way to trade up for Kingston Flemings, but Atlanta was my second favorite spot for him. He’s gonna be an incredible NBA player and I’m excited to watch the Hawks this coming year.

Finally seeing some mock drafts with Zuby Ejiofor going to Denver and I love it. I think he’s a clear front-runner for the Nuggets in that range.

@Double_PG Not to say those players couldn’t have better seasons- they’re both young enough to add to their game, but I think they were both maximized in their roles last season

@TheJobIsDone @RasmusJarlov IMO “malevolent and vindictive” imply unserious disney villain-esque evil intentions like spiting someone for being the “fairest in the land,” when in reality this act is intentional and political bc the World Cup political. It is not without reason. It is cold and calculated.
