One thing different this tour is the staff! Back then, you never really knew who the staff was before. Mainly because people would attack/annoy them since they were close to BTS, but now? Now they poppin up on my feed like “look at the cute way i decorated this jersey!” + “you+

in ‘the last’, he talks about going “from seiko to rolex” as this symbol of making it. going from where he started to the place he once dreamed of reaching.

and now, years later, he’s wearing seiko again. meanwhile there’s a tiny keychain from a toy machine hanging off his stuff and a sticker of his beloved son tang on his phone.

and THAT is what gets me.

because yes, yoongi can afford a rolex. he can afford pretty much anything that the younger version of him could’ve dreamed of. but somehow, after everything, he’s still someone who gets attached to the little things.

a random toy from a machine. a tiny sticker of tang. little objects that remind him of people and things he loves.

he doesn’t need to show how far he’s come through every single thing he owns. and i think there’s so much of yoongi in that.

he went from seiko to rolex, achieved things younger yoongi probably couldn’t even imagine, and yet somehow he still has that same soft attachment to ordinary little things.
