Even Before Voting Day, Allegations Emerge of Early Ballot Stamping in Dhaka-17
—
Individuals reportedly linked to Jamaat-e-Islami have allegedly entered the Manarat School and College polling centre in the Gulshan থানাধীন area of the Dhaka-17 constituency ahead of official voting hours.
Critics claim the purpose was to mark ballot papers in advance in what they describe as a “voterless” process aimed at inflating turnout figures. They argue that the incident reflects broader concerns about whether safeguards are sufficient to ensure transparency and credibility in the electoral process.
There has been no immediate official response confirming or denying the allegations.
As polling day approaches, observers say public confidence will depend not only on security arrangements but also on visible adherence to electoral procedures. Allegations of early ballot stamping — if substantiated — could further intensify political tensions in an already polarised environment.

Cash-for-Votes Allegations Surface in Comilla-4 (Debidwar)
Leaked 38-Second Video Sparks Controversy Ahead of Polls
—
Fresh allegations have emerged in the Comilla-4 (Debidwar) constituency, where activists of the National Citizens Party (NCP) are accused of distributing cash to women in exchange for votes in support of candidate Hasnat Abdullah.
The claims follow the circulation of a 38-second video described by critics as significant. In the footage, Subil Union NCP leader Miskat is reportedly seen handing out money to women in Burirpar village. Several others, some wearing T-shirts bearing the party’s “Shapla Koli” (water lily bud) symbol, can allegedly be observed present at the scene.
The development comes just hours after Mr Abdullah posted on Facebook warning that no one should attempt vote-buying in the Debidwar constituency — a statement opponents now cite as contradictory in light of the allegations.
Opposition figures argue that distributing money while promoting a party symbol constitutes an attempt to influence voters ahead of polling day. The NCP has not issued an official response to the video or the accusations at the time of writing.
The episode adds to a growing list of claims and counterclaims between rival parties as the country approaches voting day, further intensifying debate over the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.

23 Signed Result Sheets Seized in Jhenaidah-4 a Day Before Polling
Allegations of “Election Engineering” Surface Ahead of Vote
—
In the Jhenaidah-4 constituency — covering Kaliganj and part of Sadar — 23 result sheets reportedly signed by agents of the “Dari-Palla” (Scales) symbol were seized at the Salimunnessa polling centre.
According to local reports, the centre’s presiding officer was Jesmin Ara, an assistant engineer with the Department of Public Health Engineering. It has been alleged that the result sheets were signed in her presence prior to polling day.
Critics argue that, if confirmed, the incident could suggest attempts to predetermine outcomes before ballots were cast — a practice they describe as “election engineering.” They further allege that such actions reflect broader concerns about the integrity of the process under the current administration.
There has been no immediate official response addressing the allegations or clarifying the circumstances surrounding the reported seizure.
With voting imminent, observers note that transparency at every stage — from ballot casting to result tabulation — remains critical to maintaining public trust in the electoral process.

Bangladesh Will Not Take Part in This Chaotic Vote
Violence and reprisals mark BNP–Jamaat’s election battle.
Critics warn the country is sliding into unrest, describing it as a sanctuary of violence. Allegations of a staged election have fueled clashes between rival factions of BNP and Jamaat — long-time political allies turned combatants.
Observers say some areas now resemble battlefields, where the outcome is determined not by votes, but by attacks and casualties.
⚠️ With safety at risk and democracy under threat, citizens are urged to stay alert and protect themselves.

Intimidation and Attacks on Journalists to conceal vote rigging
----
For journalists, the cost of reporting truth exposing ongoing election manipulation under Yunus regime has been appearing deadly.
Titu, a journalist, was ruthlessly assaulted and threatened with life by Jamaat e Islami backed violent activists as he went to capture vote theft plotted by Jamaat activists.
Since the schedule of this sham polls were announced, Yunus regime oversaw mob attack on media offices and arbitrarily jailing journalists on false charges in the name of press freedom, an ominous precedent but overlooked by international rights groups.

An Appeal to the International Community to Save Bangladesh from Collapse
--
This staged exercise is not only about excluding Awami League. Rather this sham polls excludes several political parities that opposed to radical ideology and stands for a liberal country. Merely for their political belief aligned with Awami League, millions of voters are threatened with death and subjected to state sponsored pogrom including intimidation and torture, forcing them to cast the ballot against their will, a meticulous design to inflate voter turnout.
Rampant mob terror including lynching and wave of brutal torture have dominated the climate of this sham polls. Jails have been overflowing not only with supporters of Awami League. Alongside scores of journalists, rights activists and anti-war crimes campaigners were framed in false murder charges and languishing behind the bars. In the run up to this farcical polls, millions of minorities have been pushed on the verge of extinction as sweeping impunity has been granted for killing and violence branding them as supporters of Awami League. Women, that constitutes half of the voters, awaits a grim future as they are also excluded from national policy making to a new low, in the name of democracy building.
All the past impressive gains made on empowering women have been under siege. Rule of law has been dismantled, hundreds of police stations were looted and thousands of arms stolen from police station has not been recovered while convicted militants were released from prisons before the announcement of the election schedule. On the other hand, anti Awami League outfits including Jamaat e Islami have been given a free hand to make unprecedented and alarming gains.
Visuals have emerged showing election engineering efforts brought to display by contesting parties, in a sheer disregard to code of conduct. All the past elections were not ideal. But the outcome of this exercise will tear apart the syncretic fabric that separates Bangladesh from other nations.
In the name of referendum, Yunus regime squandered public money and campaigned for yes vote, a clear sign of dictating the outcome instead of relying on the public verdict. The referendum, that seeks to scrap secularism, is an outright unconstitutional exercise plotted to erase the founding constitution that has been born out of blood of millions of war heroes who fought and own this flag and freedom from Pakistani occupational army.
We appeal to foreign observers and all international stakeholders to objectively point out the flaws and sheer abuses unfolding centering this exercise.
Legitimacy to this exercise by relying on lofty words from Yunus will drag the country into prolonged instability. In last seventeen months, the regime proved to have trampled on the tall pledges, reducing the country into a dangerous place and a safe haven for intolerant outfits.

Overnight Ballots, Empty Polling Stations — Is This an Election or a Takeover?
No voters. No transparency. No democracy.
In Ward 43 of Dhaka-6, the Jubilee School and College polling centre was reportedly occupied in advance. While citizens remain absent, ballot papers are allegedly being stamped and boxes filled under the cover of darkness.
This is not democratic participation — this is control.
Reports suggest polling stations are being seized before voting begins, with “overnight votes” cast without public presence. The silence of the administration only deepens concerns that the outcome is being engineered rather than earned.
When ballots are stamped without voters, democracy becomes a performance — not a process.
If this model spreads nationwide, the implications are clear:
⚠️ Occupied polling stations
⚠️ Voterless ballot stuffing
⚠️ Administrative inaction
An election without voters is not an election — it is a warning.

Bangladesh heads to the polls on Feb 12 — but without its largest political party.
The Awami League remains banned under the Anti-Terrorism Act, raising serious questions about the credibility of the election. Human rights groups warn of political repression, minority violence, and the silencing of journalists under the interim regime.

In a joint letter to @ChiefAdviserGoB Muhammad Yunus, leading international human rights organizations have raised serious concerns over #Bangladesh’s worsening #humanrights climate—urging immediate reforms, accountability for past abuses, and an end to politically motivated arrests.
The joint letter from @CIVICUSalliance, @pressfreedom, @FortifyRights, @hrw, @RFKHumanRights, @techglobalinst warns that continued restrictions on the #AwamiLeague, #mediafreedom, and civil society will undermine the country’s path to democracy ahead of the 2026 elections.
As the world watches, Bangladesh stands at a crossroads: will the Yunus government deliver genuine reform—or repeat the cycle of repression under a different name?

Behind the smiles, speeches, and global applause lies a dangerous truth — the #JulyCharter was never about reform. It was a performance.
By shutting out voices that represent nearly 60% of #Bangladesh, @Yunus_Centre turned a national dialogue into a personal shield — a scripted show to please foreign audiences while silencing his own people.
This wasn’t reform. It was exclusion, deception, and survival — a calculated plan to protect one man’s image while democracy crumbled at home.
When the majority is silenced and the elite rewrite the story, the result isn’t progress — it’s betrayal.

Statement of the Bangladesh Awami League
Protesting the joint attacks and mob violence by police and political party cadres on Awami League’s peaceful procession, and the indiscriminate arrests of its leaders and activists
The people of Bangladesh are witnessing with deep concern that leaders and activists of the Awami League continue to fight for the restoration of democracy and people’s rights. The Bangladesh Awami League stands as a fortress of resistance in the struggle for justice against injustice and oppression. Guided by the spirit of public welfare, it represents the values of humanity and compassion.
However, for waging this just struggle to re-establish democracy and safeguard people’s rights, Awami League members are being subjected to brutal and inhumane repression. Today, in continuation of this persecution, a planned wave of mob violence was unleashed against Awami League leaders and activists participating in a peaceful procession in the capital. Many were severely injured in barbaric attacks; victims were even obstructed from receiving medical treatment. Some have reportedly been abducted or forcibly disappeared, with ransom demands being made for their release.
While cadres of various political parties, including the BNP, are carrying out mob attacks in collusion with the police, law enforcement is simultaneously creating an atmosphere of fear by indiscriminately arresting injured Awami League activists and destroying the environment necessary for fair political practice.
The Bangladesh Awami League strongly condemns such heinous acts of mob terrorism and unlawful arrests. Those who, under the direct patronage of the state apparatus, are committing such violence to fulfill political vendettas aim only to create chaos in the country and endanger the lives and property of its citizens for their own political gain.
On behalf of the Bangladesh Awami League, we demand the immediate arrest of the attackers, proper medical treatment for the injured, and the unconditional release of all unlawfully detained leaders, activists, and political prisoners. At the same time, we urge the people of the country to remain vigilant against conspiratorial activities aimed at destroying the achievements of national development under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter, Sheikh Hasina, and depriving the citizens of its benefits.
Joy Bangla

Long live Bangladesh

Top #terrorsirsts released on bail by #Yunus regime have become active, while others in hiding have emerged. There have been reports of these individuals threatening businessmen with extortion in various areas of Dhaka. A prominent terrorist has also been implicated in a case of twin murder in the city last month.
On 29 September, notorious criminals Subrata Bain held a showdown with his gang at the Bishal Centre in Moghbazar. He visited the location following an incident involving the encroachment of a shop. Later, he called several businessmen to discuss the matter, creating panic among the traders there.
Subrata Bain is not alone in his activities. Similar actions by other top terrors including Imamul Hasan Helal, alias Picchi Helal have been reported in Mohammadpur.
