Most people won't read a 24-page paper. Most people will watch a 2-minute video about it.
@YahliHazan and I built post2vid at the @xai grokathon — a pipeline that turns any paper into an educational video.

@housecor yea this is great, but i always end up writing memoized getters for each different state tho or i end up “state === ‘whatever’ ? …” over and over
how, in the year 2024, does signing into the same service on different apps suck so bad on mobile. apple please let my google account transfer between the apps
@mattpocockuk One of my favorite things about ts is it lets me think about the data i’m working with before i build any functionality. also after figuring that out, i don’t have to keep it in my head. having used ts forever and now using js for a work project, this is what i miss most
@wesbos I’ve actually been working on a library for this! The idea is to use components and/or an XML language for building the receipts. I think it’s pretty neat https://t.co/UrR4N5TVE0
@ChShersh i wonder how the increasing use of LLMs will influence this. LLMs only work well with a lot of data for a given language, so in the future this problem might get worse?
@mattpocockuk Before I went to college I was firmly in the “everything is online for free” camp. Then, in college, I realized that a structured course (or book) can be much better — especially when you don’t know what you don’t know.
@ryanflorence i mean i think it really comes down to the UX. there isn’t a really big advantage to using desktop apps over web apps, but on ios PWAs have never really been super good and are missing features provided by native mobile apps
