@HawleyMO@MLB They were never going to be disciplined. Players still cant write stuff on their uniforms and they still have the right to not wear the pride hat, as they did before. So this had no effect. Whatever blows your hair back though
@TaylorTwellman The bullying is not outdated. Its still as egregious as its ever been. Its so embarrassing and eye-roll inducing to watch. And then, the commentators legitimizing it by saying "go to ground" as if this a legit movement/strategy. Its real tough to defend.
Wait. WAIT. If watching two men kiss can turn a child gay, then showing them a man and a woman kiss should turn them back.
Unless, of course, that’s not how any of this works.
The World Cup fans falling in love with America aren’t in the places MAGA controls ... they’re in New York, LA, Seattle. Chicago, San Francisco, and Boston, the cities Republicans have spent a decade calling dangerous, godless hellholes that apparently the entire world wants to visit.
Yeah…that’s not gonna happen. I call it soccer. I own it proudly. I never apologize for it. If you grew up calling it soccer and changed out of insecurity or some misguided belief it makes you more authentic/credible…it doesn’t. It’s cringe. It makes you look like a weak poser.
