If you are as outraged as I am about the terrorist’s crimes please consider donating to help the brave warriors from the 18th Sloviansk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, Alpha SBU and others to send the orcs home. #Ukraine desperately needs our help.
From Monthly Sprints to Proactive Commitment
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, your donations have made an incredible impact. Thanks to your generosity, we've been able to respond to urgent needs and equip some of the most committed and courageous units in the Defense Forces of Ukraine. More details on deliveries in that 🧵https://t.co/XtNWq39vvl
But here's a problem: our current support model is reactive. Every urgent need kicks off a race - prepare a campaign, raise funds, items procurement and delivery - often with a month-long delay between the call for help and the delivery of equipment.
We can do better. They deserve proactive.
Same as before with our good partners, a US 501(c)(3) Public Charity @UASunflowerSeed

Russia is pulling air defenses from across the country to shield Moscow. Ukraine’s drone and missile strikes last week just forced the Kremlin into a major defensive redeployment. While this will protect Moscow, it will leave Crimea to fend for itself.
Fresh OSINT today show the same pattern: low-level Ukrainian drones over Moscow Oblast + Russian air defense units repositioned on highways and even placed on residential rooftops. This drains resources from other fronts and distant strategic sites. Other reports highlight that strikes on 6/22/26 took out the Pansirs and S-400s protecting the Kerch Bridge.
On the one hand, this makes significant sense. Many of Russia's defense and dual use factories are in the Moscow metro area. Furthermore, Moscow is the political center of gravity of Russia overall. More air defenses equals a higher density of missiles/interceptors and guns. This means Russia can withstand larger waves of drones before being overwhelmed and saturated.
The higher elevation really helps as well. A Pansir on the surface similar to the posted image has line of sight to an FP-1/2 to about 18 miles with no obstructions. The Pansir on top of a building has a line of sight out to about 28 miles with many fewer obstructions. While that doesn't seem like much, that additional detection provides time for the Pansir and surrounding systems and fire units to get much more capable shots.
On the other hand, this will have significantly negative impacts for Russia elsewhere which we are already seeing. Ukraine appears positioned to exploit the gaps.
Occupied Crimea appears to have no air defenses beyond some ad-hoc gun systems on trucks escorting fuel trucks. Yesterday's attacks on fuel terminals, ferries, and air defenses show that Crimea has next to no air defenses. Groups such as @414magyarbirds are hitting targets uncontested. Crimean occupation authorities have suspended fuel sales to civilians and restricted many services. It appears no one can get out and the lucky few are queued in long lines for inspections to enter the Kerch Bridge.
However, the biggest impact of the change is how Russia has reduced defenses elsewhere in industrial areas. Ukraine got multiple missile strikes on production facilities in Voronezh that produce Pansirs and other facilities that produce electronics for the Iskander ballistic missile and Kh-101 cruise missile. Fewer Pansirs means Russian air defense will continue to degrade. Fewer Iskanders and Kh-101s reduces Ukraine's demand for ballistic and high end air defenses it desperately needs.
Usually, Ukrainian strikes hit one factory at best in these strikes. Multiple more power strikes are more efficient overall in terms of saturation. Larger/multiple hits on the same facility take significantly longer to repair.
Looking forward, I expect this trend to continue. A greater focus on political protection in Moscow while the rest of Russia and the front are left more vulnerable. This gives Ukraine a window to do as much damage to Russia's defense industrial base and fuel infrastructure as possible. Combining those over months will affect the battlefield.
Ukraine may not be able to quickly retake territory due to manpower shortages. Ukraine will likely be able to make local successes and relieve pressure on strained fronts.
However, there are two outliers. If the severe shortages in Crimea cause a major domestic political crisis, we may see Moscow make some shift.

Brad, you are fucking disgusting. This Marine died over 4 years ago, and you are replying to a rando bot who dredged this up for social media engagement...And you replied to it, with AI slop designed to do the same. It's obvious from your post that you did not know this hero, because you are posting as if he was just KIA.
You are a shameless motherfucker.

‼️IGOR ZHOVKVA (Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine) Having been honored with the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland in 2022 for strengthening Ukrainian-Polish partnership, I cannot remain indifferent to this decision. Therefore, I have decided to return my award.
Ukraine Enables Access to Russian Military-Industrial Complex Technologies via Launch of "TrophyLab" Platform – Fedorov.
The Ministry of Defence is launching the "TrophyLab" platform—a hub providing verified users with access to information on modern Russian weapon systems. The goal is to analyze Russian weaponry and develop effective countermeasures.
The platform grants access to research findings regarding captured equipment for:
▪️ Ukrainian defense technology manufacturers;
▪️ military units;
▪️ research institutions;
▪️ international partners supporting Ukraine.
Users gain access to technical documentation, research results, and analyses concerning modern Russian weapons. Additionally, there is an option to request a physical examination of captured units, or even to dismantle and destroy them.
This enables engineers to test their own solutions on actual enemy equipment and significantly shorten development cycles for countermeasures.
On the one hand there is a slight public safety risk. The truth is, air defense in a populated area is dangerous, however, using urban infrastructure like highways is the the only real way to redistribute air defenses in a timely manner.
The size and effectiveness of Ukraine's Moscow strikes yesterday was truly impressive. Moscow's air defenses were overwhelmed. When viewing the footage, Russian air defenses do seem to have a quality problem.
Many of the Ukrainian munitions weree flying slow,. steady, and straight paths. The drones are bu no means stealthy. Yet somehow we see countless videos of air defenses missing drones bu a surprisingly large margin.
It is hard to tell how much is operator error versus technical error. Regardless, the degradations in overall capability are clearly a problem for Moscow.
One thing I did notice is that most Russian shots are after the drones have passed which is poor practice. That is indicative of poor early warning. Ukraine was very successful in attritting early warning systems over the past few years and it has clearnly borne fruit.
I think this is just the begining of these sorts of attacks.
Thank you Craig and Awer. your words are very moving 😢😢😢. I wish Awer and all the Socceroos all the very best on Saturday and future game days at the World Cup. You make us all so proud.

Telling his journey, and that of so many others, from displacement to the top of the world.
Beautiful words about the history of Australian support for refugees, many of whom have been our greatest players, and of course our greatest broadcaster as well.
Les Murray. Or Laszlo Urge.
Australians come from everywhere, all with our own stories and journeys, united through the Socceroos.
A message for the country, and very much needed.

Disgraceful.
Players have worked their whole lives for this moment.
And loved ones denied the chance to be there.
People who’ve raised them, supported them, been an indispensable part of their personal journey to this moment at the pinnacle of world sport.
It’s not football.
Russia has destroyed Nova Poshta’s most advanced terminal in Kyiv’s Zhuliany district.
According to Nova Poshta CEO Yevhen Tafiychuk, it was the company’s first facility equipped with fully automated parcel-sorting technology — a key piece of civilian logistics infrastructure.
While Russians have already launched a campaign to convince audiences that it was an "expired Patriot missile" that struck Kyiv's Pechersk Lavra, Ukraine's SBU has identified the Russian kamikaze drone wreckage responsible for targeting the historic cathedral.
According to the investigation, the Russians launched the kamikaze drone model "Geran-2", a Russian version of the Iranian Shahed. The conclusion was made based on the analysis of debris found at the impact site in the Stefanovsky chapel of the Assumption Cathedral.
As experts established, some elements of the drone were manufactured in Russia, in particular in the special economic zone "Alabuga", which is confirmed by the markings on the fragments.
The attack on the Lavra took place around 1:50am on June 15 during a massive shelling of the capital. As a result of the strike, the roof, domes, walls, and windows of the cathedral were damaged. There were no victims or injured.
When Notre-Dame burned in 2019, the world stopped.
Today, Russia damages Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a monastery nearly 1,000 years old and older than Notre-Dame itself.
A thousand years of history deserves the same attention, the same sympathy, and the same protection.
This is how Russia murdered my friends in Odesa. These double tap strikes are sickening & a war crime. They specifically kill people who come to help. The ICC is working on a case & Putin should be indicted for it, even if he never sees the inside of a cell (though we can hope).

For most of us, we can’t even imagine what Nestory’s journey has been like.
As with all refugees.
Displaced, homeless, full of hope but in desperate need of safety. A chance. An opportunity at life.
With a dream and a ball, making a new life, in a country with a proud history of welcoming refugees, but facing its own forces of opposition today.
Nestory didn’t just shoot the ball into the Turkish net, he struck a lightning bolt to the conscience of millions of Australians.
How can we cheer one brilliant, skilled, explosive and confident young kid representing us, and we him, and simultaneously portray refugees or new arrivals as less worthy?
It also should raise the question of how refugees come to be? Everyone wants to live a safe life at home, with kin, generations of family, not having to ask for a chance..
But conflict, it’s funding, the breakdown in international law, the weapons industry needing to be fed, exploitation of resources, religious tribalism and extremism, all create the more than a hundred million people who have fled their home.
It is these drivers we must stop, and these causes we must never support nor participate in.
Football brings everyone together and shows us what we share.
Now, we share a love of a young Aussie kid who overcame every barrier put in his way, to reach the pinnacle of world sport.
And that is needed more than ever.
