I’m working on a follow up to my report with the Lenny Henry Centre For Media Diversity on diversity in post production sound and looking to interview people, especially men, from underrepresented groups at any stage of their career working in UK ONLY post production sound across any genre.
Roles such as Re-Recording/ Dubbing mixer, Sound Effects Editors, Dialogue editors etc. This aspect of the research is to explore the barriers people from diverse backgrounds experience within the UK TV industry. @wheatlby Yes, I had a couple of those. With a few paragraphs about how well they thought they'd responded during other wars, but not this one. Then out of the blue, I got a letter saying they now plan to do the right thing. (Not in those words, obvs!)
