Yeah, on the global level we need to start putting out a ton of pro-natalist propaganda.

On the personal level, choose actions that reduce the burden on parents of young children in your area.

Now that our kids are older, my wife and I have started offering child care on Fridays to facilitate date night for the young couples from church. Not a life changing benefit for the parents but it reduces the friction of finding a baby sitter that might otherwise slow them down.

I had an epiphany today. I think the "but-Mormons-aren't-Christians" crowd realize that they are getting so severely out-Christianed by us that their only chance is to get us disqualified by technicality.

Church attendance, family formation, charitable giving, bible study: All aspects that LDS members do better than any other denomination.

Imagine being an ortho-bro living in your mom's basement and watching your fellow 20 year olds succeeding in life so hard that you have to redefine the rules for what a Christian is just so you can feel superior.

This is a great outcome but these charges should never have been filed.

The investigation should have ended once it came to light that the deceased was a sex offender who had a no-contact order with the minor he lured into his car.
