Bollywood often paints Kashmir with hateful stereotypes. Yet, when some of these C grade stars from the same industry land in Kashmir, a tiny handful of so-called " influencers" fawn over them ; forgetting the demonic potrayal of their own people on camera.
This shameless pandering to the same hate potrayer,kashmir stereotyper industry that invariably later fuels hate attacks, imepedes students from getting rooms, and destroys livelihoods, outside J&K is too interconnected to NOT notice.

Kashmiriyat deserves better.
These handful of so called ' influencers' are equally responsible for a biased potrayal of Kashmir in films as the industry itself albeit these fools get nothing but an autograph for normalising Kashmirophobia as compared to industry that mints millions.

PS : If these " elites " (cum fools) insist on hosting Bollywood stars, the least they owe to the people here is a clear, public condemnation of films that demonise Kashmiris.
A warm welcome without registering strong disapproval of hateful portrayals ( like seen in Chauhan recently) is not hospitality ,it's silent endorsement of the demonising content. They must rethink or hang their heads in shame before swooning over C grade stars as if starstruck.

Medical interns in J&K receive a lower stipend compared to other states and FMGs receive no stipend at all . They work long hours and deserve better support and respect. Let's hope @manojsinha_, @OfficeOfLGJandK, and @SyedAbidShah take notice and make a positive change for them.
