@iamsahilparray Before questioning those who have spent years earning expertise, first ask whether you have earned the standing to speak on or against their behalf. Achievement demands sacrifice, commentary demands only a keyboard. The difference is the distance between opinion and credibility.
@iamsahilparray The greatest mistake is to confuse a loud opinion with authority. It is easy to speak for millions; it is far harder to understand the responsibility that comes with doing so.
When truth is inconvenient, opinion often becomes louder than evidence. Yet science has never advanced by applause or accusation it has advanced by data. Time has a remarkable way of separating prejudice from progress, and evidence from emotion.

PGI Chandigarh adapts residency scheme. So resident’s duty hours is 48 hrs / week with a mandatory week off. Why can’t residents demand overtime payment for extra 200-250 hours or C off? Also HoD can be can be legally prosecuted under BNS 146, BNS 336& BNS 125
“The UK doesn’t have a doctor shortage. It has a doctor retention problem”
The UK is an international outlier, with a monopsony employer that limits wages and progression. There is no guarantee for doctors to progress. Most resident doctors do not progress. Some are unemployed.
The outcomes:
1. Non-doctors paid more to replace them
2. Huge turnover of doctors (including from overseas)
3. Doctors left on standby instead of training to consultant
4. A manufactured limit of consultant doctors
5. Higher and higher waiting lists
Why is it any surprise that doctors are striking to have a consultant job so they can tackle the waiting lists crisis, and to be paid as much as a physician assistant?
Doctors who have graduated in the UK are left jobless, whilst patients are stuck on waiting lists. Some are dying before being seen. The UK is the 7th biggest economy in the world.
@wesstreeting are you going to continue your public defamation of resident doctors, or actually do something?

This has become a habit of some students in different institutions of Srinagar to post disrespectful contents about Prophet (SAWAW). The recent offence from a student in GMC Srinagar is a fresh example. These repeated offences cannot be tolerated in any civilised society. We give due respect to the religious figures of other religions and we expect the people of other religions to be equally civilised.
The Srinagar administration should take immediate action and book this offender immediately under law. A mere suspension of the student is not enough.
