"Everything that matters takes time and effort," is an excellent reminder of the work educators do over the summer with preparation and planning. Great positive movie watch #RemarkablyBrightCreatures@NetflixBrasil
It is an honor to serve the community where I live. Meaningful connections make a positive difference, and those opportunities are everywhere. @DelValleISD
"We are not trying to repeat an outcome.
We are trying to repeat a process."
You don’t build dynasties by chasing results.
You build them by mastering the habits that produce them.
The scoreboard only reveals what the process already decided.
We are thrilled to announce two new faces leading our elementary campuses. Please join us in welcoming our newest principals to the family!
Baty Elementary: Welcome, D’Jon Pitchford!
Creedmoor Elementary: Welcome, Reyetos Valdez!
I’ve followed the work of @DrMattGutierrez since his time as superintendent in Seguin ISD, and today’s session with his leadership team from @DelValleISD was a powerful reminder of what instructional leadership truly means. When he stated, “There are no students at central office,” it resonated deeply. Our work does not live in offices, meetings, or reports—it lives in classrooms, hallways, and campuses where our students and teachers are every day. Effective leaders stay connected to schools, remain visible in learning spaces, and ground decisions in what is best for students. That mindset keeps the focus where it belongs: on teaching, learning, and supporting those closest to the work. #InspiringLeaders #TASA2026
Thank you to everyone for coming out and showing support for our #TASAMidwinter session! Shout-out to @LGonzalez_GES for getting an action shot during the presentation!
At Del Valle ISD, early transformation didn’t happen by chance—it was driven by intentional cabinet building, a shared vision, and coordinated action across the system.
Excited to share our journey and lessons learned at Texas Association of School Administrators Midwinter.
New leadership. Real challenges. Measurable gains. Discover how strategic cabinet building, shared vision, and coordinated action drove early transformation at Del Valle ISD.
See you at Midwinter!
Big shoutout to our incredible 3rd, 4th, 5th, and SPED teams for hitting the 50-star mark! ⭐ We loved celebrating your hard work today with a well-deserved Coffee & Taco bar. ☕️🌮 Your dedication to our students shines every day! #SchoolCulture#Teamwork#AllKidsCan
Last week before winter break.
This isn’t about doing more—it’s about finishing with care.
To everyone in schools: your presence matters.
Finish steady. Rest well. 💜
Friday before Thanksgiving motivation quote "Pressure is a privilege. The choices we make each day can change kids’ lives, impact their families, and shape their futures. As you move through today, pause and reflect: Is the decision you’re making truly what’s best for kids?"
What an incredible morning at the DVCC Turkey Trot! I loved seeing our community come together, cheering on our students, handing out medals, and even watching five of our amazing principals hit the course!
I also earned the most donation votes in the Pie Face Challenge against our Board VP Susanna Ledesma-Woody, which meant I got pied in the face for a great cause!
Huge thanks to everyone who ran, donated, and showed up to support this event. This is what Del Valle pride and community spirit are all about!
