He is also a prop character with a constructed mythology so that the narrative of America's beginnings can be obscured. Personally I think there were other characters from around that time that weren't Conversos whom Columbus followed, and over the centuries all trace of those explorers were scrubbed. Wow you're absolutely right I'm sure glad we opened to door to compare atrocities over history. Who has been doing all the human and child sacrifice rituals, all the wholesale financial predation, mass enslavements, all the genocides? (not Christians, unless you're going to point fingers to distract from the actual bad guys). Who has elevated women and humanity, eliminated diseases and barriers to peace, who has defeated the evil in the world?
If you're going to go with the least bad of all the ways to organize hunanity and do it sincerely Christianity is where you end up.

Successive and regular Carrington events regularly cleanse the earth of high technology. There are also groups that can be reasonably inferred to exist, which act over generations to rewrite and eventually wipe out literary and architectural records. Geomagnetic storms, bolide impact events, and the subsequent events also do their bit. Safe technique is gatekept. Everything available online is a trap, when you follow these psi guides you pick up hitchhikers or worse, and entrain yourself to be susceptible to manipulation because these methods are fundamentally deceptive and do not teach discernment.
