@shegone03@notgaetti@BobFile@billdubs@iamrags@artofhitting@hittingguru7 Cue, not que. One means to signal someone into action; the other is Spanish.
People should always be willing to question the data. That's how data improves. Using this accursed data, people knew Ben Rice was unlucky in '25. Guess what? He has improved in 2026.
@shegone03 You simply cannot respond to a statistic with a claim. Claims can only hold water if backed by reasoning, which you did not provide.
"That means it's a stupid stat!" WHY does it mean that? Explain your reasoning and conversation can exist. Otherwise, this is pointless.
@BigDave1433@PeteATurner@jimfurtado Arraez being slow doesn't make him a bad base runner, nor does not stealing bases.
Most base running isn't stealing. It's going first to third, or scoring on a popup.
Arraez is 89th percentile and he has 2 BSR (23rd best). Will this stick? Can't say, but he's run well so far.
@cowboyaroza If you're making a case for Caminero being over Soto, Juan Soto defense lowlights are the wrong direction. Junior Caminero is one of the worst fielders in baseball. At least as bad as Soto, I would say.
@Marbles1637@frank_devoe@Jolly_Olive Mike Piazza set Mets fans expectations way too high. Most catchers can't hit at all. A catcher who can hit, even if he is only hot sometimes, is better than normal.
@aleck_25@ByMMonreal@EldridgeIsKing To all Giants fans: This is the average IQ of the fanbase. They see evidence that says a player does not suck, then promptly say, "He sucks."
@HerrHaynes@BBGreatMoments I do understand your tweet, and I am a "baseball guy." Mind games are far more interesting than bean ball.
So, we'll just keep it moving.
@JonnyRoot_@IdahoJoe_ On further thought:
If your reason for not signing in SF is LGBTQ+ people -- lyou go on a podcast and say, "I would sign there, except the gay people are the only thing stopping me"-- it may be your right, but it's discrimination.
Actual discrimination. Not what you described.
@JonnyRoot_@IdahoJoe_ If players opt not to sign in SF because of LGBT people, that is not religious discrimination by the Giants. Indeed, it is probably a betrayal of the fanbase instead.
People have often discriminated against LGBT people . When LGBT people reply, those people cry, "Bigotry!"
@ottowner@BRWalkoff@AAGDhillon@AGJamesUthmeier@AGCHanaway If MLB permits it, it's allowed. If MLB doesn't permit it, it's not allowed. Shocking, I know.
Also: Bericoto is wearing it to honor the dead, dying, and injured in Venezuela. He isn't doing it for an agenda. It's not politics or religion. It's just for humanity.
