Tell us about College Football Experience?

My college football experience was great! Learned so many lessons through my years at UNI. Started out as a walk on and really bet on myself and trusted the process. Spent the first two years playing RB and had a few opportunities to play. Spent the last 3 seasons at WR where I think I really took my game to another level. During the process of moving to WR, I feel like really developed a solid work ethic which helped me find success.

When you look back at your college career what is one game that stands out from the rest and brought out the overall best in you as a player?

I would say my last game against NDSU was my best game. Going into this game, it could have potentially been my last collegiate game and I went into that game ready to leave it all out there. That game showcased my abilities and also showed my competitive side.

When you look back on your college playing career, can you name a time where you overcame adversity and what did you learn from the ordeal?

I would say I overcame adversity when I made the transition from RB to WR. I was in a spot where I was a young player, and I was not getting a ton of playing time. Moving to a new position that I had no experience playing was sort of a gamble, but I picked it up quick and worked really hard at it. From that situation, I learned that I have a good feel for the game and I am good at identifying what I need to get better at as a player, and then fixing that in the off-season.

When you look at your style of play what would be your biggest trait you possess and what is one area you are always improving on a daily basis?

I would say detail in route running along with craftiness. I believe I bring finesse when needed and I am really good at mixing it up when I need to.

What do you look for when watching game film? And what would you like draft scouts to look at when watching your game film?

I look for the base coverages and then coverages based on down and distance. Once I figure that out, I look at players that I would be going against and look for tendencies and what will work against them. When scouts look at my film, I want them to see how consistent I am. I can get open vs man and some coverages. Also see how much better I have gotten each season.

How do you stand out from other draft prospects at your position?

I believe the way I mix things upsets me apart. I take pride in my detail in routes and the way I can run the same route and then run it 5 different ways. I love watching film and picking up new moves/techniques to add to my arsenal. I also believe I have just scratched the surface with my ability at WR with only 3 seasons playing the position.

If you could compare yourself to any current pro football athlete, who would it be and why?

I would compare myself to a Cole Beasley with my quickness in the slot, Keenan Allen with route running craftiness, and Doug Baldwin with approach to the game.

What is your final pitch to pro football general managers and draft scouts?

I believe I bring a lot of skill to the WR position, and I know I will only get better and better as I keep learning. I also bring value to special teams with returning ability. I love the grind and the process of getting better and I look forward to the future opportunities to prove this.
