I’ve been on record plenty of times saying $SILVER miners have been a terrible investment relative to the metal for much of the last decade.

But this chart is starting to look different.

$SILJ / $SILVER is pressing into a major multi-year downtrend while building a constructive rising structure underneath it. Monthly momentum is also improving.

From here, I’d put the odds of a bullish breakout in silver miners vs the metal at roughly 60–65%...

If that happens, the next few months could finally be the period where $SILJ starts delivering the torque people have been waiting for.

And don’t even get me started on some of the other precious-metal ratios…

$PLATINUM looks even more interesting.
