@walkeri141 Go look at who Ohio State played in non-con. IU got an easier conf schedule, that’s not their fault. The playing someone in non-con days are over, no reason for it when your conf has at least 5 teams that’ll be top 25 most years and you’re likely playing 3 of them.
@kraigbowers34 The other absurd thing is it all gets piled on Bobinski. The board at PU has proven over and over to be tightwads on athletics. They made a huge deal about what they shelled out for a coaching staff but we were still bottom 3rd in B1G. That’s the board IMO
@StockTalks21 I find 5 bad things the defense did, Nelson and the other weak side guy are tied for the least concerning bad thing. Guy on ball gets ROASTED, Sears is nowhere close enough to help and foul line dude is still waiting to switch on a screen as the ball goes up. Fix those 3 first
@TheRebuildingYr If Walters is still the coach by this time tomorrow, be as pissed as you want to be. Firing the OC pretty much locked Walters in for the rest of the year unless he did something massively bad like hit a kid. Firing him two weeks ago solves nothing
@walkeri141 Maybe one should consider that Bobinski doesn’t actually have the authority to fire Walters? I’d bet a decent share of $ he can’t decide to spend the funds necessary to do this without approval from the board. Not like we don’t have a rep for being cheap on athletics
@kraigbowers34 I might be making more of that -13 than what I should but I’m going to say that’s why Berg is going to keep getting minutes until at least January and honestly the rest of the year. TKR can’t be the tallest guy on the floor for this team.
@kraigbowers34 My contention for the last 2 years is the combo of Smith/Loyer creates defensive issues that Edey/Jones covered for. Who can best mimic Edey at that task? TKR and Heide might be fine if you had two 6’6 guards plus Colvin. Just don’t see TKR/Heide as the answer with 2&3 out there
@kraigbowers34 I guess I’m interested in the results of Heide at 4 and TKR at 5. TKR is a good player but he’s not at all a rim protector. I’m not sure I see a starting lineup of that 4/5 combo being successful with Smith/Loyer, don’t care who the 2 is. Too many easy looks will be given
