I have been reporting that local cadres are systematically filling voter registration cards using the names of individuals who never appeared to register, and, in some cases, people who do not even exist.
According to multiple reports, officials have been instructed to register 1,500 voters per polling station regardless of whether eligible voters actually show up. The plan is then to cast ballots in those names on the eve of the election or on election day itself.
The objective is clear: to manufacture the appearance of a massive voter turnout and counter opposition claims that large numbers of citizens have been unable to register because of the ongoing conflicts in Amhara and Oromia.
Over the past weeks, I have posted evidence showing cadres filling out registration cards inside their offices. Here is further evidence: stacks of completed registration cards prepared in advance.
A video of a Dutch policeman throwing a heavily pregnant woman to the ground has caused outrage. The woman says police attacked her at a migration centre where authorities had detained her Palestinian husband.
Check out this throwback clip of Susan Rice laughing at the absurdity of a 100% election victory in Ethiopia. As Ethiopia faces another election cycle under Abiy Ahmed, it wouldn't surprise me if we see the exact same script play out tomorrow from the Trump admin. 😂 🇺🇸🇪🇹

"#Asseb has always been #Eritrean!" declares Dawit Woldegiorgis, a high level leader during the Dergue Era and was assigned by Mengistu to be #Eritrea's Governor during the heyday of the brutal regime makes it clear in a recent interview that #Ethiopia can never own a Sea Coast legally unless it uses force or #Eritreans willingly federate themselves with #Ethiopia. And we all know that will never happen.... #NoMoreWar
The #Paradox is that #ERiTREA🇪🇷 was a well established nation-state way before Abyssinia was transformed into empire Ethiopia let alone modern-day #Ethiopia🇪🇹.
