@ezraklein Much of the talk coming out of WelcomeFest seems counter to your vision of Abundance and seemed like more of an excuse to enact conservative policy without any indication that they want to build anything to help those who need it. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on it.

@KyleKulinski @ezraklein If Klein wants the kind of Abundance he's talked about in his interviews and the book, then he should absolutely criticize what's coming out of WelcomeFest as much of it doesn't seem in line with his vision of Abundance. It seems more a way to achieve conservative policies.

Christ's teachings were very radical because it required individuals to give themselves completely to the service of others. Many Christians simply don't want to accept this.

One of China's biggest problems is domestic demand because their government deliberately keeps their population poor so they can keep labor costs down. Many Chinese industries are struggling because their population can't afford the products...

Tactically, he blundered several times, particularly on the third day where he got loads of his men killed in a futile, useless, and stupid attack.

His victories were often so costly that he costly in casualties that they impact the ability of his army to fight in the future. He also had huge problems with command and control which frequently caused problems.
