Trevor Noah is the greatest export we ever made, just listen to how he answered the “White Genocide” question on this interview, such a true patriot of the country. 🙌🏾🇿🇦.
I hope the politically illiterate African clowns who spent years insulting South Africa for dealing with Russia now have the decency to withdraw their words, if they have any shred of self-respect left.
Many on this continent, most loudly the Democratic Alliance in South Africa, attacked the South African government and the African National Congress over their relationship with Moscow. They did so because they always parrot whatever Washington dictates.
Before they followed the racist Trump regime, they followed the line of the Biden administration, which accused South Africa of loading weapons onto a Russian ship, the Lady R, in Simon's Town. It was a lie, and an independent inquiry found no evidence that any arms had been sold to Russia.
Yesterday, the same America that punished India with tariffs for buying Russian oil announced, with great fanfare, that it would import Russian diesel. Donald Trump personally announced the deal after a call with Vladimir Putin, and the Treasury immediately issued a licence for it.
South Africa was insulted and threatened with sanctions for something it never did. Washington now openly does what it condemned in others.
The lesson for Africans is simple. Countries pursue their national interests. They do not follow fixed scripts of good and bad handed down by others, they act on what serves their people at a given moment.
Do not be dogmatic, and do not become a foot soldier for someone else's ideology. Lessons come every day. Learning never ends, and nobody knows everything. I hope they have learned something.
A tiny country in Africa’s most Southern tip has produced 12 Nobel Laureates since the first award was announced in December 1901
These great leaders and amazing human beings bestow huge responsibility on every South African @GovernmentZA
@mteton@TheOldCootBiker These are the 'inherent' characteristics of white supremacy...if its excellent, it has to be white ...and the first action is to tackle the writer because she is black & not filter critical analysis of the facts before him... sad..
Every human being has equal value. Every single one.
At the United Nations General Assembly, I challenged a world that still decides whose lives deserve protection and whose suffering can be ignored.
No race is superior. No people are disposable. Until we honour that truth, "everywhere is war" remains a warning we have failed to heed.
What the world needs now is love, with the courage to confront injustice and defend our shared humanity.
Love and a little kindness. For everyone.
This Mozambican man in South Africa says Nigerians never do any productive work with their hands and are not skilled in any labour. All they do is crime. He asks “who has seen a working Nigerian anywhere in South Africa?” Watch and listen.
