@carsales_guy@stevehaag81 Is it a Cybertruck in the stable?
I gotta say I never thought I’d say I’d rather have the Cybertruck than a sports car at this point.
But that steer-by-wire is incredible.
@Troll4Trump@Mericamemed Yeah, I know it’s crazy, right? 😂😂
This isn’t AI, bro. This is in a public bathroom and I took the photo because it was the craziest install I’ve ever seen.
Seemed unbelievable. Glad you feel the same haha.
@J_WasNeverHere@DonnieAdams@Mericamemed Well it’s more like for children and people in wheel chairs
But I guess some people only think of themselves
This is a public bathroom by the way
@Mericamemed I've underestimated the quality of work that most people would pay for.
Who knew so many people would be happy if contractors installed bathrooms like this with no permits 😃
Looks like I've found a new business niche.
@Mericamemed Permits are done because we don’t live in a third world country.
People are too dumb and still try to install things like this.
A permit would’ve stopped this, but we know one was never pulled.
@xRealMadHatx@Mericamemed No, it’s quite easy to do most of this work.
No one is saying it isn’t, at least I don’t see that in the thread.
Where did you see that?
The only hard part is following the rules. That’s where most fail, but that’s the white-collar technical side of blue-collar work.
@Hawksbythesea@Mericamemed Yeah I was a little surprised myself by that one!
I’ve seen serious basement problems due to literally just bad down spout installations 😂
Correct, but if they had a permit, they could've gotten it done correctly.
I understand this may not be the case everywhere, but as a contractor who pulls all their permits, it is very easy to call the town and ask about an odd scenario.
I tell homeowners that the building department is not the police; they are only a third-party unbiased observer that wants to make sure the contractor makes it right for the customer.
Maybe it’s not like that everywhere, but that’s how it is where I’m from.
No one is denying that homes have non-permitted work.
Permits are just an attempt to stop dumb people from doing stuff like this in the picture. Obviously, not all permits get pulled, just like the one in the picture.
Ultimately, there’s no way to stop stupidity, but they can try.
Governor, who do you actually employ in a business you run?
Oh right, no one.
It’s called entrepreneurship: spotting opportunities, taking risks, and building companies that deliver real value. That creates jobs, innovation, and trillions in growth.
Elon’s trillion-dollar net worth isn’t Scrooge McDuck cash, it’s the market value of Tesla, SpaceX, etc.
Own those shares yourself and you’d be a trillionaire too.
So why not go build something instead of complaining?
Senator, it’s called entrepreneurship: spotting opportunities, taking risks, and building companies that deliver real value to customers. That creates jobs, innovation, and trillions in economic growth.
Elon’s trillion-dollar net worth isn’t Scrooge McDuck cash in a vault. It’s the market value of Tesla and SpaceX. If you owned those exact same shares, you’d be a trillionaire too.
So why not go build your own companies instead?
