Some of my forced-retirement days don't suck.

@ravenunreal I haven't mcdonald's for a few years, so of course I accept

[chris in osaka @zenkundaddy71]

@Vinod_r108 I need to take a shower and wash the treacle off

@DannyDrinksWine I agree that "Seven Days in May" burns. Great script by Dr. Twilight Z as well as a plethora of scintillating performances.

Jethro Tull's best song: an intense 4-minute, flute-fueled, guitar-infested masterpiece to which I will never grow tired of listening.

@PerellClips I have had very similar thoughts about Travis McGee.

@TheRealVarnVlog @donaldp1917 I'm looking forward to eavesdropping as well, assuming I can keep the time difference in mind.

Once I got scrubbed Beatty and Dunaway off of my retinas, I really enjoyed this twist on the story:

@TuttReal @TheRealVarnVlog Doesn't that nom de plume flow from Mean Gene B?

@maxdaniellawton I just found a free copy for my kindle.

[chris in osaka @zenkundaddy71]

@horrormuseum Old enough to have watched it "live" and with adequately warped sensibilities to have enjoyed the living crap out of it

[chris in osaka @zenkundaddy71]

@maxdaniellawton Thanks for the reminder that I'm due for a reread. It's been since the early Reagan presidency

@jackaldane @questingvole I know the difference but can never remember which means which. So I'm going to keep my gray mouth shut

@stephenRB4 William Vollman. I have read just enough of his vast corpus (which I've greatly enjoyed) to anticipate the pleasures of those texts that are new to me as well re-reading nourishment.

[chris in osaka @zenkundaddy71]

@joeljmiller @TheLuisPanini Oleson is how we spell it. But either Olson or Olsen was more common in southern minnesota where I grew up.

[chris in osaka @zenkundaddy71]

@TheLuisPanini @joeljmiller Damn shame they spelled "Oleson" wrong!

Since my wife is coming home with her new car, now I must set her monthly parking fee. Joint ownership doesn't really exist. It is my house and my parking space. I could use more books; how much can gauge her for?
