Earlier, we experienced brief downtime of our Crucible Wallet Allocator. This was done as a precaution after detecting and blocking a malicious attempt to access sensitive data.

The security measures we had in place successfully limited the impact of the attempt.

The attempt was unsuccessful in accessing user funds. Our Smart Account, built upon proxy wallets, did what it was designed to do which is to keep user funds safe.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are asking all Allocator users to refresh their Smart Account within the Chrome extension. Please login and you will be prompted for this change. This generates a new proxy wallet, adding an additional layer of security. We also preformed a validator swap, which has caused a delay in registering / updating and changing some subnets.

We take the security of our users seriously and will continue to monitor the platform closely while implementing additional safeguards identified through our review.
