@lost_in_tech I think the Parasolid license prevents them from offering hobbyist licenses. Anyhow, they’ve been clear it won’t change.
Vibe code your own CAD app, I’ll subscribe to it 😂
@repkord@crussty@Mojee3d@BambulabGlobal@Prusa3D If Prusa could sell at $899 then Bambu would sell at $699. Every consumer only buying on price would still buy Bambu. Prusa would die due to the price being uneconomical. The economics of profitability are not what controls the price of a Bambu printer.
@joeltelling I built my own ERP to sync Shopify orders, plan print jobs for all components and produce full packing slips with bom for every product. Saving me 2+ hours a day, no more spreadsheet and haven’t made a packing error since.
@SnazzyLabs I vibe coded one for my 3D printing business. My products have many printed parts, colour options. Spreadsheet became unwieldily. I now have a product/component database, sync orders in from Shopify with one click. Can select groups of orders to generate print jobs, saves hours
@rudkin_abigail It’s psychology, the mindset, the confidence. Only the coach can influence and change that. I was all for giving him till the end of the season until today.
@lost_in_tech Acro is witchcraft. Hours in a sim required before venturing out with the real thing. An Avata2/Neo2 with goggles and FPV remote (the joystick thing) is a similar end experience that’s enjoyable with zero practice needed.
Had an ATS Mini SI4732 radio on my desk for a year. Great little radio with a tiny battery and speaker.
Not anymore, meet Cubert. 2.5x bigger battery, 3x bigger speaker and an improved power switch too.
Spent far too much time obsessing over the knob 😆 #radio#hamradio
@3DMakerNoob@Shapr3D It’s fabulous. You can pick it up and use it as a direct modelling tool very easily. The parametric history complicated it a bit and stresses older iPads but is worth it.
@rudkin_abigail One of my New Year’s resolutions is going to be “Get Abi on Shopify”. Etsy are thieves you don’t need. Have a great Christmas! Order incoming…
@SnazzyLabs Shipping a physical product you designed and manufactured is extremely satisfying. The unprompted emails you receive afterwards from customers thanking you is also worth more than any profit too 😊
@JoshMurrah There is a good reason they have a print farm full of their own printers 👍 My little farm of MK4’s have put out thousands of hours of prints.
