A person escaping persecution should find protection, not captivity. Eritrean refugees facing trafficking and exploitation in Libya need urgent protection and justice. The international community cannot look away. #EvacuateEritreanRefugeesFromLibya#ProtectEritreanRefugeesInLibya
The journey through Libya can become a cycle of abduction → captivity → torture → ransom → exploitation → detention.
People fleeing danger should never become victims of a criminal business built on their vulnerability.

Research based on survivors’ testimonies shows that Libya has become a system of captivity for Eritrean refugees. People fleeing repression and indefinite national service, then they face kidnapping, detention, extortion and repeated trafficking in #Libya. This is not a collection of isolated crimes. It is a profitable system sustained by weak accountability, armed control and the absence of safe alternatives. The international community must stop managing this tragedy and start dismantling it. #ProtectEritreanRefugees
freedom, and a better future.
"The arrests are completely arbitrary. Mothers, pregnantand lactating women are being roundedup.
Their lives matter, and their human rights must be respected.#BlueRevolution@amnesty@UNHumanRights@Refugees@AP

The suffering of Eritreans does not end when they leave Eritrea. Many flee in search of freedom and safety, only to face trafficking, detention, ransom demands, and exploitation in Libya. The world must act. #EvacuateEritreanRefugeesFromLibya#ProtectEritreanRefugeesInLibya
In memory of four brave Eritrean sons.
Four brave men were taken from us by a brutal regime that fears the truth, fears freedom, and fears people who refuse to remain silent. They did not lose their lives because they committed any crime, but because they dared to stand for justice, dignity, and the Eritrean people’s right to live in freedom without fear, oppression, or dictatorship.
They stood with courage when others were forced into silence. They raised their voices for the oppressed, the imprisoned, the disappeared, and for all the innocent people who have suffered under the regime’s brutality for far too many years. They knew the risks, yet they still chose truth over fear. That is why their names will never be forgotten.
A regime may imprison people. A regime may take lives. But it can never kill the truth, the hope, or the dream of a free Eritrea. The memory of these four heroes will live forever as symbols of strength, resistance, dignity, and true love for their people.
We carry sorrow in our hearts, but also pride. Because their sacrifice was not in vain. Every voice that continues the struggle for freedom, every young person who refuses to bow to dictatorship, and every Eritrean who still dreams of justice carries their legacy forward.
We will never be silent. We will never forget. And we will continue the struggle until Eritrea is finally free.
Rest in eternal peace, our heroes. Your names and your sacrifice will live on forever. #TransnationalRepression #BlueRevolution #Eritrea #NoMorePFDJTerror
