@turingpi@Paypal It's always been hot garbage the way a few folks who have buyers remorse can gum up your entire operation with @Paypal. I have been wondering what happened to the #TuringPi2 launch, after holding out on the last batch.
Dear community, we know that you are eagerly waiting for the release of the Turing Pi 2. But, our hands are tight by @PayPal. For almost a year they keep frozen our funds necessary to continue operations and launch TPI2. Please share this thread to raise awareness...
@MitchellGStLR@ItsBoner729@mattswider Plot twist....just got an OOPS email from Gamestop...oh nevermind your order is fine and will ship out soon.....soooooooo....uhhhh...hmmm.
@ItsBoner729@mattswider Same...just happened to me. Least I was able to just get an order through Best Buy...the place this started when I got stuck with the "Sorry, system problem unfortunately we can't do that" issue a week ago.

@2GregEl@VoronDesign @3dpNero My quick and dirty solution has been to hollow out a hole big enough for a threaded insert to bottom out, print, fill hole with resin, jam in the screw/insert (enough resin to "embed" the insert...and then cure with screws in place. Siraya Blu+Build.
@3dpNero @2GregEl@VoronDesign This...the heat and stress tends to cause resin parts to char and just catastrophically fail. Many parts are designs for some pressure or "clamping" fits and resin just behaves differently. I have used resin for fan ducts and light duty parts that have captive nuts.
@JessL3dPrints @ChuckHellebuyck@toms3dp@SliceEngineer@Prusa3D@Ultimaker What I do to save as much time as possible, is run the interior at 200-250mm/s, then throttle acceleration and speeds for the outer most layer down to maybe 80-100mm/s.
@JessL3dPrints @ChuckHellebuyck@toms3dp@SliceEngineer@Prusa3D@Ultimaker It makes a difference on 8bit boards with curves. If you run something like octoprint over usb, you don't have to deal with bus throughput issues vs usb either. It's all situational, and slowing down is always an option.
@JessL3dPrints @ChuckHellebuyck@toms3dp@SliceEngineer@Prusa3D@Ultimaker Mostly ease of config updates and tweaking. The older stock boards are limited, but with the E3 swap it would be fine with Marlin. I tend to do lots of weird things, so making changes on the fly from my office, and keeping multiple file versions is just easier for my brain.
