Looking for a classroom set of calculators for HS mathematicians. I have a few TI 30XIIS. But been wondering if this is the most helpful for students or if there is something else I should consider. Maybe something more user friendly? Thoughts? #mtbos #iteachmath

@MathByTheMt This year i have Geo, Alg2, precalc, trig/stat. We have chromebooks and I like to have students use desmos but concerned a little about assessments and needing something not on a device

@Mathowitz Not a fan of the "trick" needed to remember this process. Also, there is still a factoring step that might be difficult for students. I prefer they use the Area Model (box method)

Now, 2023 - 23 is 2000. But I need to also take away that 32. So 2000 - 32 is 1968. = 1968

@howie_hua Thanks to Trigonometry and Radians, I know there are 12 30 degrees in a 360 deg circle. 15 is half of 30 so take 12 x 2. Ans is 24
