@instagram My help flow thinks I have this feature on but I don’t have an authenticator app for it; how can I get past this? My account is as old as Instagram and I don’t have “the original authentication code” it asks for if you don’t have an authenticator app. I’m locked out without help

@instagram I have been hacked and am stuck in a circular “help” experience and cannot get in, because I do not have an authentication app for Instagram. No matter what I try, the flow insists on this and I cannot find a way around it, nor can I seem to get help. Please help me!

Jan 2022. 2+ years of covid. For the vaccinated, the virus is essentially a cold; the logistics are the worst part. Logistics... to help prevent others from grave illness. Others, who, by not vaxxing, decided *not* to help prevent others from illness. Do I have that right?
