$NEET is the easiest memecoin thesis i've ever had to explain to my friends, in and outside of crypto
Not only is being a NEET the end-game for most but it allows me to long the trifecta of:
unemployment + debasement of $$$ + memecoin craze
NWO
Feels like we are at an inflection point now for $NEET
A coin that represents the convergence of a generational mindset and a macro trend
The last 10-15 years, the economy has greatly rewarded speculators
Stories, statements and narratives have trumped P/E ratios:
$XRP - Replace the banks
$DOGE - Currency for the people
$TESLA - Elon bet
$GME - Liquidate the suits
$SPX - Flip the stock market
This has ushered in a generation of speculators
'Working hard' is no longer the call to freedom, not as it used to be 20/30 years ago
Job opporunities and career prospects stalling, money becoming cheaper and purchasing power becoming inflated away
The desperation to outcompete and make it primarily lies in speculating/gambling
It's why the memecoin market is worth close to $100bn today and growing
Look at where we are today in the crypto market
- Apathy at ATHs, losses have compounded
- No altcoin season, rich getting richer, unless you really have an edge
- We don't believe in anything anymore
This is why I believe @MustStopMurad's timing is perfect with this $SPX play
Murad's job to galvanise a number of lost people to believe in something has been made a lot easier from the events of the last 6 months. We already saw how traders lost everything the last few days
I believe the events of this year will only lead to higher demands for coins that have mission statements that touch on emotional painpoints
This is where I think $NEET excels
I've been a NEET for over 10 years. I've had businesses that have done well, some not so much. I've made crypto bets that have done well, some not so much. During that time, I've always struggled to identify as to what/who I am. I think this problem is pretty common with many gen z and millennials. It's why crypto appeals so much to this lost generation
It's no surprise there are 262m NEETs and counting. The trend is up
The one thing I have closely identified with is being a NEET. Not to be confused with someone who is lazy and broke, I think that's a major misunderstanding regarding NEETs. NEETs are simply those who are opting out of wage slavery, and opting into self-sovereignty. It's the reason why so many got into crypto
This is where I see $NEET excelling, trumping even the mission statement of $SPX (this isn't a dig at $SPX). I feel like $SPX has walked so $NEET can run
I truly believe that @MustStopMurad is right about his thesis that people will flock towards coins that they resonate with. Not ones that they find funny. There is nothing funny about losing 80% of your NW on an animal meme.
The stars are aligning here:
- People not believing in anything
- Apathy at ATHs
- Speculators resonating with Murad's thesis that they want to belong (emotional painpoints)
- $NEET surviving seven 70%+ drawdowns since inception
- $NEET outperforming 99% of the market during the biggest liquidation cascade in history
- Secular trend of NEETs on the rise
- Incoming crypto leg where mission statements are at the forefront
Considering all of the above, $NEET at $25m seems like a good bet
I don't know where the ceiling is, I just know the thesis reinforces itself the higher we go
The biggest scam in the world is convincing everyone to work for 60 years straight
Sacrificing your youth, dreams, and personal freedom
All while being told that one day after decades of labor, you'll finally get to enjoy life
The reality?
By the time you retire, you're in your 70s, your body is tired, and health problems have begun and the energy you once had is long gone
What's left is only a short window to live freely
But it's not true freedom anymore
You're shackled by age, medication, and regret
All those moments with family, friends, and past have gone
Traded for a paycheck
When you finally have time, you're too old to enjoy it
That's the real cost of a lifetime of work
Time is the most valuable currency and trading it all for work without living fully is the real loss
