It’s telling that you and others circulate the image of our honorable leader Qazi Mohammed at the gallows as if it is meant to humiliate us.

When the moment of reckoning came, Qazi Mohammed did not flee. He did not gather his family, his entourage, and the luxuries of palace life and escape while his people were left to bleed. He remained in Mahabad. He stood with his people. He walked to the gallows knowing the price.

Now remember 1979.

When the uprising reached Tehran, the Shah fled Iran and left the country with immense wealth while the nation he ruled descended into upheaval. He did not stay. He did not face his people. He did not risk the consequences of his rule.

Qazi Mohammed faced the rope.

Your king boarded a private jet with the wealth of the people.

So keep posting that image. For us, it is not humiliation. It is the sharpest possible contrast between a leader who stayed and died with his people, and a king who fled when power slipped from his hands, leaving his people to face the regime alone.
