In this I debunk the 4 points raised here, which are based on a cartoonish understanding of Wahdat al-Wujud.

Ibn Arabi was not some marginal or heterodox figure. He soared to the highest height of mainstream Islam, especially in the Ottoman Empire, where generations of scholars and Sufi masters honoured him as one of the greatest saints and spiritual masters of Islam.

Those who praised, defended, studied, and venerated him vastly outnumbered those who condemned him or takfired him; and many of his most distinguished defenders stood among the highest ranks of the Sunni scholarly tradition.

And Al-Azhar continues to defend him and teach him, and the Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi Institution just opened up here with licence from Al-Azhar 🌟

1. Allah worships Ibn Arabi

2. Fir’awn was correct in his statement “I am your Lord The Most High”

3. Fir’awn in reality is al-Haqq(Allah) but in a specific form.

It's a rapture from the four madhhabs, even the Hanbali maddhab and Ibn Taymiyya's diversion from the Hanbali maddhab.

Anyone that has an objective view and can view things from the outside can tell you that Wahhabism represents a rapture not any natural continuation.

Also, MIAW was famously egotistic and said in some of his writings that no one understood Tawhid before him, and was a terrorist, etc etc.

Nope. The Qur'anic readers match the consonantal skeleton of the Uthmanic codex except for like 3 words or so.

For example, I think it happens once or twice that a "you" becomes "I" or vice versa, and it does lead to a different meaning, but that meaning is part of revelation as well. That's how orthodox Islam understands its own tradtion.
