no matter what the players said or how they answered everyone is taking it whatever way they want to justifies the opinions & feelings they already had about the players. if they like a player they gave thoughtful & insightful answers, if they dislike a player they were whining.
The playoffs are so funny because you’ll see players going out of their way to make a hit. Like did you make a play? No. But did you bruise your opp? Yes!
@matzuccarello i feel like both he and ryan need to take a long social media break and fuckin relax. their discord is overrun with people desperately trying to kiss ass by making mika jokes to get greg's approval and he's now totally lost in the sauce

when i interviewed a bunch of former athletes (nhl/nfl) about pain management stuff the big consistency across them is that the players will always try to play, no matter what their body is saying. it's up to training/coaching to either enable or not
It's a pride thing tbh so I don't think it's ever something you'll say to yourself (i'd probably be the same way tbh). I usually just blame the coaching/medical staff for stuff like that. Players wanna play and will do anything they can to play
Brett Berard said he's planning to join the summer training group that includes Kreider, Rempe and Quick and works with local strength and conditioning guru Ben Prentiss. #NYR
@Danno2430 separately it's kind of amusing he's annoyed you QT-ed him with some thoughts after he just did the same thing about a player's comment. like isn't that what social media is for lol
@VallysView @kellyjean512 i'm confused what we want to hear from them then... players talk all the time about how much it's "on them," and they get called whiney and self pitying. then if they mention anything else, now they're "hiding accountability"
i feel like we're just looking for excuses to be mad?
