Many Muslims may see this pact as protection against Israel, but Israel isn’t attacking Turkey, Pakistan or Saudi Arabia and with the U.S. and China closely watching the region, major Israeli adventures against them seem unlikely.

I doubt it.
The real purpose and the real payoff of this defense alignment may still be something we haven’t seen. On the surface, it appears to serve U.S. interests by keeping Iran in check and maintaining consistent strategic pressure on Tehran.
