On Police Ten 7 cancellation: The complaints from the criminal thug apologists is that there were ‘too many Maori and Pacific’ being shown on camera being arrested - and the media swallowed their ideological rage.
They aren’t on camera because of ‘white man’ colonisation or police racism - it’s called reality. If those idiots don’t want to be on camera then they shouldn’t commit crimes in the first place - no matter what colour or race they happen to be.
@MayorWayneBrown@MayorWayneBrown - We affected home owners need support to protect our homes from future floods. 30-40% of houselifting costs are from services that the council could provide for free (Geotech, engineering, planning $ consent). Please set up shop for us to use these services..??
Yesterday, the LGBQT community damaged their own brand. All the acceptance they had gained is lost to a lot of people. To stop one group from speaking is censorship because you don't agree.
The devastation of Cyclone Gabrielle has been felt by everyone in the All Blacks. Our hearts go out to all those affected and we stand with you during this tough time. ❤️
@MetService Fingers crossed that Gabrielle looks at us and thinks "yeah nah, Auckland and the north have had enough disasters with mayo Brown and recent storms" and veers off into the sunset without hitting us. 🤞
@dbseymour Civil Defence & the emergency management folk are asking people to stay off the streets if they can to allow emergency teams clear access to fix things, & you want the streets full of kids/families on school runs.
Do you think before making these statements?
@dbseymour To the people who are arguing that only a few schools are physically on badly damaged roads - you do realise parents/buses etc. have to travel from a variety of locations over a number of different roads to get to school?
@dbseymour Do you really think Auckland’s badly damaged roads are ready for normal school hour crazy traffic to resume tomorrow? Plus there are further severe weather warnings scattered over the next few days. Seems sensible to have fewer people out and about.
Wayne Brown says he’s staying put as Auckland Mayor, despite calls for him to resign over his response to the flooding, and a petition that is rapidly racking up signatures.
