Then the voice told her to kill herself, so she superficially cut herself a few times, but then stopped. Why? Did it hurt too much?

She didn't stop as Cora and Dawson screamed for their mom to stop. I bet they even pleaded.

Manslaughter should not be an option for the jury. Strangling three children is not manslaughter. Manslaughter means without malice. Strangulation is extremely violent. You know those children grabbed at their throats and fought. I can’t believe the judge allowed that choice.
