"I lost my biological mother just minutes after I was born. I grew up not knowing her. The incredible woman you see in this picture is my stepmom.
My dad married her when I was only one. She had a 2-year-old son, and together, we became a family. Four years later, we lost my dad Just 2 years after my stepmom gave birth to my baby sister. Unfortunately, my dad's brothers, my uncles, took control of all of his properties. My stepmom didn't let that stop her; she moved us to a new town for a fresh start. I was five years old then.
My stepmom raised me, her son, & our baby sister. She worked hard to make sure all of us went to school. If I'm honest, I'll tell you with complete confidence that this woman loves me even more than her own biological children. I didn't even know she wasn't my biological mother until I was 19 when she finally told me. I was completely shocked.
I got pregnant at 20 & had to drop out of school. The baby's father left. I was considering ending the pregnancy, but my stepmom found out and spoke with me about it. She took on the responsibility, caring for me & my baby. I was a brilliant student, but cuz of our financial struggles, I thought I'd given up on ever returning to my studies.
When my baby turned 2, Stepmom told me to go back to school. She promised to take care of my baby while I focused on my education. We didn't have much money, but she did everything she could, even selling many of her personal belongings so I could finish school. I knew education was the only way to escape hardship. I made sure I stayed 100% focused on my studies without distractions, I didn't listen to the likes of Saida Boj again.
Now, glory be to God, I'm finally a graduate in Chemical Engineering! I actually graduated as the best student in my department and earned a scholarship to study and work abroad.
Tears of love and joy stream down my face every time I think of my stepmom. She's an amazing woman, and I can never thank her enough for all the sacrifices she's made for me, for us.
To My Dearest Stepmom ❤️
Thank you for loving and taking care of me since I was one. You raised me like your own child, and I'm forever grateful. Your kindness, patience, & guidance have made me who I am today. I appreciate everything you've done for me. Thank you for being an amazing stepmom! I pray that God grants you a long, healthy life & blesses me so I can take proper care of you and make you proud, You will certainly reap the fruits of your labor Mama. Thank you😭😭❤️❤️"

@Femi_OfMainland@ruffydfire Let's push it further, Gowon had an MI6 handler, he wasn't even really the one making those calls. Up until today, we are still not sovereign. Your current president is a Western puppet and so it continues...
A 92-year-old North Carolina man got so bored 2 months into retirement that he applied to work at Chick-fil-A...
...his smile, kindness, and passion for Jesus became so contagious that when he got sick and missed 3 days of work, an ENTIRE TOWN began asking where he was.
His name is Gilbert Martin.
Everybody calls him "Mr. Gil."
Mr. Gil is 92 years old, and works at the Chick-fil-A on Oleander Drive in Wilmington, NC.
He spent decades working in the natural gas industry and when he retired, he greeted people at Sam's Club for 12 MORE years, until they eliminated his position.
Most people would call that a sign to finally rest, but not Mr. Gil!
Two months into retirement, he got bored... so he walked into Chick-fil-A and put in an application.
He was 86 years old at the time.
He's been there ever since.
Not one or two shifts a week either. Monday through Friday.
He says the full schedule gives him more chances to be there for people who need him.
His official job is dining host.
Clean tables.
Clean floors.
But Mr Gil doesn't see it that way... as he describes it, his real job is:
"I get a lot of people that are coming in, just been to the doctor, and got bad news... I'm able to be an encourager; the Lord gave me that."
A 92-year-old man who could be resting at home... chooses to stand in a dining room five days a week... so strangers on the worst day of their lives don't have to be alone.
And Wilmington noticed.
When Mr. Gil caught a cold and missed a couple of days, the owner said he was FLOODED with HUNDREDS of customers who were panicked about him.
Mr. Gil has zero plans to retire.
He says if you ever see him working, come say hi.
"I don't know what 92 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great. Serving others has always brought me joy because I believe that a smile and a kind word can make someone's day a little brighter.”
We need more of this in the world!!!!
The only Goal that Ronaldo scored in the 2022 world cup against Ghana... Was the most fraudulent Penalty ever awarded in World cup history
By right Ronaldo wasn't suppose to have any Goal in that 2022 World cup but FIFA had to gift him 1 Goal to cover shame
🤣🤣🤣
