A WARNING TO THE WEST: @NYYRC Delegation Arrives in South Africa for Extended Visit and Strategic Engagement

Pretoria, South Africa – A delegation from the New York Young Republican Club (NYYRC), led by its President, @StefanoLforte, has arrived in South Africa for an extended visit of more than a week at the invitation of the think tank and advocacy group, @LexLibertasOnX.

The NYYRC has expressed concern that South Africa’s decline since 1994 is a warning to all Western nations as to what is in store for the White population once they become a political minority — the end of civil rights, redistributive injustice, and a perpetual anarcho-tyranny.

The American and Afrikaner people share a tradition of self-determination; the NYYRC is here to study the perils of race-socialism and the fallacy of “the end of history.”

Lex Libertas and the NYYRC will host a joint press conference on Friday at 09:00 local time, where Dr @ErnstRoets and Forte will announce follow-up initiatives aimed at bringing a fuller account of South Africa’s realities to American audiences and to policymakers in Washington, D.C.

Beyond the conference, the visit will include a comprehensive programme designed to expose the delegation to the full complexity of South Africa. Dr Roets said that the trip will include exposure to the best and the worst that South Africa has to offer through meetings with business and institutional leaders and engagement with various projects aimed at addressing the deteriorating state of South Africa.

This includes:

- Meetings with victims of violent crime, including farm attack victims;
- Meetings with institutions involved in poverty alleviation initiatives, particularly for those who have experienced exclusion under race-based legislation;
- A visit to Orania to exemplify self-reliant and community-driven development models;
- Experiencing Afrikaner culture, visiting historical sights and the White Cross Monument;
- Observing both the challenges and successes of modern South Africa, including deteriorating central business districts, vandalised monuments, informal settlements, thriving enterprises and prosperous suburbs; and
- Experiencing the natural beauty and geographic diversity of the country.

Dr Roets said the visit is an important step in strengthening international understanding:

“South Africa is often discussed internationally in abstract or ideological terms. This visit is about engagement with reality — the best and the worst, the successes and the failures. It is about ensuring that informed voices in the United States understand the complexities of our situation and the importance of sustainable, community-driven solutions.”

Forte said that the delegation looks forward to meaningful dialogue:

“The Club is here to witness firsthand the results of DEI policies brought to their natural conclusion. White Afrikaners are being persecuted, murdered, and altogether barred from aspects of South African society – all while Western media turns a blind eye, just as they will when this inevitably comes to our doorstep. Make no mistake, the American Left’s goal is ultimately the South Africanization of the United States, and our Club is here to expose what the consequences of that would be for the American people.”

South African beauty queen Dottie Tiyo (left) appearing in a real-life drama in the Johannesburg Regional Court alongside wealthy mining executive John Rudd. In May 1961, police raided the home of John Rudd, a prominent 34-year-old white businessman and "mining playboy," in the Johannesburg suburb of Bryanston. They found him with Dorothy "Dottie" Tiyo, a 21-year-old Black actress and dancer who was also a cast member in the famous musical King Kong. Both Tiyo and Rudd used the "insensibility" defence, claiming they were so intoxicated they were unaware of their actions. They were charged under the Immorality Amendment Act, 1957 (an extension of earlier 1927 and 1950 acts), which strictly prohibited sexual relations between white and Black South Africans. They were both found guilty and sentence to jail time. Tiyo's career was significantly interrupted by the jail sentence. She later performed with the "Drums of Africa" show but largely faded from the public eye. As for Rudd, after serving his sentence, he continued a successful career with the De Beers group, eventually heading their Asia-Pacific industrial diamonds section in Japan.
